Ugh
The lock mechanism snapped off so now they are just standard hood latches, kind of disappointing waste of time and money. The latches are great just the locks were a fail and the whole reason I wanted to replace the standard latches. Idk why Jeep is willing to leave the engine bay open to the public.

Huge bonus of security!
I love that it can work on my Jku or my gladiator. For the jk models just use pliers to take the additional tabs off and you're good to go!

Excellent latch but lock? Not so much...
If I’m being completely honest. I would not buy these for the sake that they “lock”. I purchased these and the latching is awesome. Absolutely love how tight they snug your hood down and make “hood flutter” go away. However, neither of mine locked and actually one of the locks snapped in half with very little pressure. Although neither locks work. I still like how they look like they lock which is one more reason to deter anyone from trying to open the hood. Plus they are way better than the rubber OEM latches. Considering how other people gave them 5 stars, maybe I just got a bad pair. Idk..

Metal one is a good locking latck
I recommend the stainless steel version. The plastic type isn’t much of a lock but the stainless version is a great locking hood latch

Only looks like a lock but doe not secure
After an easy installation and after locking, a simple tug snaps the head off the locking bolt. I checked the opposite side and it also snapped off. I returned the broken product and received a full refund.

The quality of the locking latch.
The item is of very poor quality and the locking mechnaism would not prevent engine tampering. Do not buy at any price.

Too much plastic
Returned the product after purchasing and before installation. Had too much plastic in the makeup of the product for my preference. I went with an all metal set instead.

Better than OEM
Great hood latches. Same as OEM quality. Fast shipping and greatly packed box. They are not comparable to the real hood lock, but they do exactly what supposed to - deter anyone from easy access.
