didn't like it a all.
Dislike would be too simple of a word. I thought I was getting a set of books at a good price and maybe an new author to read. All the books were just up to Chapter 7-where was the rest of the book? The parts I read made very little sense. But what I hated most of all was not knowing what happen in the end. No way did I read this is just a sample of the books so I guess it made a fool out of Me. And took up space on my kindle. Please be carful if you are going to order these books, not worth the time or the money.

Not at all as pictured
The website shows 4 books in a little case for $28 - what arrived was one big fat paperback - does not match description, and is no way worth $28.00 !!

Great Fun!
These stories remind me of a TV series, Death In Paradise, which were a terrific binge! The plots and characters are all so similar and make reading a stress-less stretch of time to calm the soul during a very stressful period in the real world. Truth, justice and happy endings......

Really Good Cozies
These are well written with believable character and good plots. No bad language and no vivid sex scenes. Now we're just waiting for the next one in the series.

One volume
I hadn't noticed that the four books are in one volume, which make them a little difficult to handle, particularly for bedtime reading.

David Graham
I really enjoyed reading this series of books. They were clean, well written and quite entertaining. D.I. Graham is extremely likeable and could actually be a real person. He is human like the rest of us.

An easy read for cosy mystery lovers
I’d give this collection 3 1/2 stars...if I could. The writing improved by the third novel. They were short cozy mysteries with an interesting setting in the Isle of Jersey. I liked the main character and would read more books from this author starring this character.

A pleasant, easy-to -read series
I was hooked with the first book. Simply pleasurable reads can be hard to find. The setting on Jersey was new to me. The mysteries were honestly presented, I could figure them out by the end but I liked the way the author tied everything together.

Even Agatha Christie could do better
This is a horrifically-badly written volume, clearly by an individual who has been on her first creative writing course. In the first place, this is not a boxset of 4 books, but 4 lightweight and repetitive tales bound into one volume. The style of writing is naive. Chapters - as such - short with added pages to bulk out the book. The characters are highly formulaic - the eponymous Inspector the usual privately-saddened individual with an odd hobby - in this case a taste for exotic teas - which allows the author to further pad out the book with references to a 'tea-growers guide'. Some Agatha Christie novels are little more than short stories built around some novel means of killing, but at least she gives the reader clues to help them solve the mystery before Poirot; this poor excuse simply leaps to some un-signposted conclusion, leaving no intellectual pleasure in solving the cases to help offset the tedium of having had to read them.

Poorly written
These books are not well written. The plots are weak, the denouements pathetic, and the DI being unable to function without his quality tea is laughable. Whoever decided to publish these books should try reading some proper police books and not put out this kind of drivel

Great stories.
I thoroughly enjoyed these stories and subsequently bought the follow on books in the series. What I found disappointing was that I thought I was buying a boxed set of four books and not 1 book with four stories in it. I found holding such a heavy paperback quite painful.

Oh dear ....
I can never understand why writers (other than the really experienced top-notch authors) don't limit their stories to the countries they live in and know. This book is set in England but within a few pages it is obvious it is American based. I mean apart from all the obvious Americanisms mentioned by other reviewers, no one - I really do mean no one - in England would ever refer to visitors, as coming from 'London, the capitol of the nation.'As to the plot - to be honest I hardly got to that, what with all the unnecessary padding about roses. If Agatha Christie wrote "Body in the Library"; this might as well have been called "Body in the Bathroom". Judging by the dialolgue etc the time period seemed similar, even though one of the characters said It is the 21st century!!! Really?
