I bought this to help with training foot shy horses and to preserve my head from kicks. This lariat is very soft and easily conforms to the horse's pastern while the braiding is robust and good diameter. The length is perfect for maintaining control while keeping a safe distance. It is also quite light in weight ... all these things being helpful for helping a spooky horse.

I love these cotton leads. I have two—a natural one and a black one. I love that I can loop them onto a really good clasp and that they’re cotton—less chance of burned hands—yet smooth, not lumpy. They give great feel for a nice loose lead and a responsive horse. Only drawback is that they do get dirty—white/natural shows dirt, and black shows dirt too. But I’m more concerned with how a lead feels.

Love these lead ropes. Had one or two break so they are not as durable as I had hoped but they work really well for our horses that don’t spook and pull back when tied

If you have horses that love to chew on their lead ropes like I do, then do yourself a favor and buy these. They're great quality with a tight knit so they don't snag when tying up to trees etc. The prefabricated loop makes it super easy to just swap out your ring and your on your way!

Excellent quality, just needs a clip, which I will add. Other then that, it is soft, quality and authentic.

I do not like the materials that leads are now made from; good old cotton is the best imo!
