The packaging was horrible. Impossible to open due to cheap styrofoam. Had to invert the box to get it out. Styrofoam was all over our living room in little 1/8 balls. Clinged to all our belongings, our cats had it all over their bodies and faces. Took over one hour to clean up the packaging. Lamp was loaded with it as well. If you want to make your house a total mess and clean up the little styrofoam balls for an hour or so. That is what will happen. Regretted this purchase and was a present. Embarrassed to give it to receiver who was not happy with the disaster this purchase made. Lamp is also cheap plastic shade. Paid $230.00 for this lamp. Not worth it nor the horrible mess.

Very nice looking and well made for a good price. Nice addition to our living room.

Overall impression: a well-made, attractive lamp.Details: First, the lampshade panels are NOT made of mica; they're plastic. It's very, very good plastic, and looks a lot like mica, but it's still plastic. It's not quite the same as real mica. (Note: the lampshade frame is made of metal.) Having said that, the lamp is well-made, the glow from the lights thru the shade is an attractive amber glow. The shade is open at the bottom, so it makes a good reading lamp for someone sitting in a chair next to it. The shade sits low enough so that if I am sitting on my sofa across from the lamp, I can't see the lightbulbs. Would be better if the light sockets were 3-way, but a handy guy could probably change those out without much trouble.All-in-all, I'm happy with it. Looks good, well-made and functional.

This product is mica not glass. Very over priced for the materials used.

Love the look of the lamp and how the color works in our living room. It seemed to be packaged well, but there are dents in the shade. Very disappointing, but we decided to keep it and turn the most damaged side toward the wall.

This is a beautifully-made, all-metal lamp. Easy to assemble, well-packaged, great switchgear for each of the two lamp sockets. Casts a soft, warm, glowing light. Elegantly simple design, same height as other brand floor lamps which is perfect for chairside reading or for room ambiance. Highly recommended.

Product description is wrong. The product lists the material as glass. There is no glass on this product. The shade is cheap, flimsy plastic with a translucent square pattern that looks like it was applied with an ink jet printer. Made the decision to return it before I was finished getting it out of the box.

I love this floor lamp and it goes so well with my other furniture. If I have any complaints at all it’s that I wish it was a little taller.
