Saved me a lot of $$$
Quality of the keys are really good. I brought these keys to my neighborhood Ace hardware and had them cut. I used an Autel Mk808bt scan tool to program them to my 2006 ford Ranger XL. Works perfectly!

Sold/advertised as 40-bit keys, but are actually 80-bit keys
Amazon listing was for 40-bit keys, but the keys received were clearly labeled as 80-bit keys. Many websites claim that 80-bit keys are backward compatible with 40-bit Ford vehicles, but I have found that is not the case for all Ford vehicles. Specifically, I have 2 customer Ford vehicles that will not work with 80-bits keys (2009 Escape and 2010 Focus). Had to return these keys.

I bought these “chip” keys to replace ones for my truck. I could not get them to work, no matter how I programmed them. Turns out, they were plain ole simple keys with no chips inside!
