I know you should only use OEM parts in a BMW… whatever this thing worked great!!!

Part did not work. Also when I went to pull it out to replace it the top pulled off casing it to be stuck in the hose. I had to take the cooling fan out to get the lower heater hose out so I could remove the defective part.

Inexpensive and works as expected.

Turned off my light. Fan works now.

So I installed this in my 2000 bmw 325i after changing the lower raidiator hose. Unfortunately after about a week on the way to work it popped out and dumped all the coolant on the ground. I was stuck and had to figure out a 2ay to jam it in place. I read the other reviews and hoped it wouldn't happen to me but it did. As a 30 year mechanic sometimes these after market things are good sometimes not good. This one the tabs to hold it in are to smallto lock in so this one is bad.

Fit and finish was comparable to the original and worked flawlessly after install and reset of the computer. no complaints.

Fit as OEM. Works as OEM. Better value than OEM.
