I bought this to replace another shredder that bit the dust long ago. I had been putting all of the items I eventually wanted to shred into a lawn & garden trash bag. I checked the reviews and finally settled on this one. There are so many things that I like about this shredder.My old shredder was a very small strip shredder without wheels. This one is larger, has wheels for easy mobility, and also seems more secure due to the micro-cut shredding. I can shred junk mail without even opening each envelope. I haven't had a single problem with the unit overheating or getting stuck from too much material input into the opening. It's been a very smooth process. I finally also got around to shredding decades of old bank and credit cards. I feel so good about this. I highly recommend this shredder

Excellent shredder: works well. No trouble cutting through many papers, clips, CDs, staples, credit cards and envelopes. And, it reverses itself if you put too much in at once. Very smart machine!The motor sounds very strong too.I would buy this machine again. It’s much better than the last one I bought for under $100. I got this machine in July for about $100 less than it’s priced now, so the price has gone up quickly. I got it on a lightning deal, but the price was still raised a lot, even compared to its regular previous price.Only things I don’t like is that it’s heavy to move around, and it’s also hard to keep changing a bag or throwing out the pieces. And it fills up fast, a red light comes on, you have to move around the pieces or press them down. But really, you need to just change the bag. I just use a regular trash bag.I don’t know if you need to oil the cutting parts or do anything to maintain this, because no directions about this are given. I recommend this shredder despite these few issues.

It's very quiet, but when it fills up to about the halfway point the machine chimes that it has to be emptied.

We have gone through many shredders over the years but this one is the absolute best so far. It is so quiet and extremely fast for the micro results. Since it accepts up to 15 pages per pass, it makes shredding so much less of a chore! Great product!

This is an awesome shredder! It can do credit cards without stopping or overheating. I was able to do an entire 12”x12” box of junk mail that needed shredding, in 20 min. This was taking HOURS with our small shredder we had. Got this for 266 on amazon prime days. So worth it! Now I just want to shred everything! Can do an unopened envelope of junk mail. Multiple sheets.... staples? no problem. We named her Shreddy Betty!

The shredder does a great job an turns large amounts of paper into smaller bits than I was expecting. The machine does throw bin full alarms rather prematurely because the shredded material piles up in one spot. This is remedied simply by agitating the bin a few times. It would have been nice if the max continuous run time for this model (15 minutes) was disclosed in the profile so I might have been able to compare this aspect with other products before purchasing this model. Overall, I am satisfied.

The Wolverine P-5 shredder exceeded our expectations and I'm very pleased with the purchase. It's fast, quiet, and shreds many sheets of paper at a time resulting in confetti size shredded paper.

basically this works really well AND is very very quiet.Unless you try to feed it a load of paper that's too thick it works greatsBasically it does what should really well and is very quiet.Not sure what else to add about it.
