I recently tried Aphogee Keratin Constructor and it has transformed my hair care routine. My hair had began to get damaged from heat styling and I was looking for a product that could repair and restore my hair’s health. This keratin hair reconstructor exceeded all my expectations. From the first use, I noticed a significant difference.It penetrates the hair strands without leaving residue. After just one treatment, my hair felt softer, smoother, and noticeably more manageable. Over time, the results became even more evident. My split ends appeared less noticeable, and my hair regained its natural shine and strength. What I appreciate most about this product is that it doesn’t weigh my hair down, which is a common issue I’ve had with other reconstructor treatments. I bought this product to use as a part of a monthly (or less) deep cleanse and condition routine. My hair was being ambiguous and was in desperate need of treatment. I'd seen this recommended online, when used properly that is.Bear in mind my aim here was to completely strip my hair of all product and excess protein and THEN treat it. Here is how I used the product:After clarifying the hair with a harsh, clarifying shampoo (I washed twice and left it on a few mins the first time to make sure it really did remove everything, then rinsed thoroughly and I mean super thoroughly because you don't want that stuff in your hair for long, lol), I gently towel dried my hair and applied this reconstructor generously. I popped a shower cap over it and actually left it on for about 5-10 mins, then thoroughly rinsed. My hair had felt awful before applying this from a) lacking care for so long and b) the clarifying shampoo, but this product made my hair feel really nice already afterwards which I wasn't expecting so soon. After I rinsed, I towel dried again and applied a MOISTURIZING (absolutely no protein content) deep conditioner for about 40 mins under a cap. Once I sealed my hair with oil and left it to dry naturally, it felt much much better.This product was a large part of my hair's rescue, it smells fairly pleasant and does its job well. BUT I would heed people's warning about this; it is not for regular use unless your hair is particularly starved of protein and even then please be careful. Excess protein in your hair causes a brittle, dry texture and I expect this is why some people didn't get on with this treatment. Do not use this more than you feel you need to and if your hair has been acting up, I can recommend a thorough deep cleanse/condition with this as a step before another conditioner.If it helps to know, I am Caucasian with very long and thick wavy hair that just does not like to behave. I suffer from several chronic illnesses and as a result my hair was in pretty bad shape thanks to a lack of nutrients and neglect. It was very dry and impossible to de-tangle or run my fingers through. This product definitely helped alleviate my problems and I will be using it as a sporadic part of my routine, like I said only once a month or two months even.

I use this religiously every 7-14 days under a heated bonnet and dryer. Grew my afro hair to waist length from BSL(bra strap length) to WL (WAist length) in four years. I only have to trim twice a year due to the strength it provides. When my hair reaches tailbone length, I am using a keratin treatment. Apparently, my hair really loves being coated with protein. Deep condition once a week and moisturize every 2-3 days. It took me 28 years to learn this about my hair. My hair hates extensions and i will never go back!

Updated to 5 stars.I live in an area with the WORST well water in the country, it will completely wreck your hair. I could not figure out why my once lustrous, thick locks were breaking so bad - it's this horrible water. My hair was once thick, wavy (3a) hair, but it began breaking off - with every wash and trying to find the right balance of moisture...nothing worked. This product has stopped the breaking. My wave pattern is coming back, there's shine and my hair is springing back to life.I literally cannot say enough positive things about this product. My hair was in dire need of something to stop the breaking and this has been the only thing that has worked. My hair was breaking so badly and with every wash, there would be broken hair, I literally contemplated cutting all of my hair off, it was that bad. My hair was looking crazy with the breakage and how uneven it is due to that.Now my hair is not breaking. off...thank god and thanks to this product. I'm not sponsored and I just recently bought another backup of this keratin reconstructor. Now I can focus on trying to repair and regrow my hair back to a somewhat even length again. If you're suffering from dry, course, frizzed out hair, try this...it works. I'm thankful to have ordered it, because I was tired of leaving hair everywhere I'd go. And, my current hairdresser explained to my the damaging effects of well water and how much of a calcium/mineral buildup it leaves on your hair, which causes major breakage.

I like how it makes my hair feels silky. So that's a 5. But it also makes it thin after suing for 4 months (2 times a month). So I wouldn't recommend for black hair or 4a hair type.

Works well for bleached hair. Highly recommend
