Lazy Susan
The product is very sturdy and the quality is excellent. However, we did run into a shipping issue. Even though the shipper had the correct zip code they were sending it back because they said they had the wrong zip code so undeliverable! Yet when I got in contact with the shipper then repeated my zip code. Crazy! We finally received it ! Not sure what was going on! The instructions we not clear or very helpful. We watched a Utube video!

Solid Product, Mediocre Instructions
Overall, the Lazy Susan set works great. The installation directions and template left much to be desired, however. When I bought my home, the existing Lazy Susan had a broken plastic shelf. During my remodel, I refinished all of my cabinets and needed to find a replacement shelf. I found options that I thought would work but realized, for the price, that I should just replace all of the hardware/shelves. I'm glad I made that decision.I'm fairly mechanically inclined and handy, and the project was relatively simple...that is, once I decided to stop trying to understand the directions and just figure out the components. The most disappointing part was that the pattern for determining where to drill the pilot holes was useless. The labels were incomprehensible. So, I just measured and figured it out myself. Which worked out in the end.One note: if you're cabinet is like mine, it has to be a perfect fit. The hardware has a lot of adjustment options and that was key to getting a good fit. It takes some fine tuning/tweaking to get it just right. In short, this works great. The shelves are made of a thick, durable plastic and the hardware is holding up well. We store all of our non-refrigerated, big container liquids on it (think vegetable oil, olive oils) and other heavy dry goods (flour, sugar, etc.) and it handles the weight very well. I'd recommend this product as long as you are moderately handy.

The instructions were pretty good, and this is not easy at all without good instructions!!

Needs more instructions
My husband & I are DIYers and have built many things from scratch as well as doing repairs & replacements in our marriage. If it weren’t for that experience, I don’t know if we’d have been able to successfully install these shelves. The beginning of the instructions were pretty good. Mounting brackets and so forth. There was a nice paper template to be sure you place the brackets correctly . It seems straightforward to mount the pole in the brackets & it is nice having a couple of choices for the height of the upper shelf. There are 2 tricky parts to installation: 1) no true instructions on how to mount the door to the shelves. It’s tricky because you have to make sure that the door is centered up & down in the opening. There’s really nothing to explain how to center the door in the opening or how to hold it up while fastening or how to measure or line up where to drill the holes. Many instructions we’ve seen for different assemblies have mentioned what size drill bit to use for pre drilling for screws. These didn’t even mention predrilling. If you don’t predrill, you may split the door.2) the pole adjustments. Part of the door adjustment AFTER already mounting the door, is using the screws in the support pole. Figuring out how to do the final height adjustments using the screws was tricky because the lower shelf kept popping up. My hubby finally figured out how to get it to stay in place. I think it had to do with the pin that each shelf sits on , but I’m not sure because only one person could be working on it at a time. There is mention of the screws for height adjustment in a smaller instruction sheet, but because it’s not on the main instruction sheet, it’s not intuitive as to when to make those adjustments. We ended up doing guesswork on how to measure for drilling holes for mounting the shelves to the door. We had to try 3 times (it’s a charm) before getting the door mounted reasonably centered in the opening. Once it was screwed to the top shelf, the weight of the door sagged down. So we screwed the bottom shelf & then figured out how to go back and forth between the upper & lower pole height adjustment screws to get it raised back up so that it wouldn’t scrape across the lower bracket screws. In the end, we are happy with how it looks and turns in the cupboard. I haven’t loaded it yet and hope it will last the same 30yrs as the original ones. If it holds the same items I’d stored on there the last 20 years, without sagging, I’ll give it a higher rating.
