KOTTOLED Lighted Magnifying Glass with Built-in Clamp, Flexible Gooseneck Handle, and 300% Magnifying Power for Work Bench Table Task Craft Hobby Bright

Mine arrived this morning, and I gave it a tryout. It looks well-made, and packaged with a drawstring bag for the lens end and a microfiber wipe. The USB power cable is more than long enough to reach the Anker multi-port charging station on my desktop. I tested it with my main use (soldering), and it works well for that - well-lit and strong enough for me to work.My only wish is that the clamp was deeper. My desktop is butcher block - fairly thick, and the clamp seems to be able to handle another inch or two of thickness beyond that. BUT the depth of the clamp leaves the tips too close to where the bullnose starts - so it doesn't stay put reliably. The top arm part of the clamp is 1-5/8" deep, and the lower disk part of the clamp is about 1-1/4" round but is up against the vertical part of the clamp, not centered relative to the top arm. A full 2" and/or centering of the screw/disk would be better. I'll try mcgyver-ing this later with thin extensions of wood or plastic. I also tried clamping to a shelf above the desk where the clamp works well. But the problem with that is the gooseneck is not strong enough for horizontal mounting and droops down too far. So, if any of this applies to your use case,... caveat emptor. However, this is not a reason to detract from a 5-star rating.

Love this light. I use it for doing detailed work on my nails.

It's a little flimsy and the flexible neck rotates in the base, making it difficult to use it in the workshop. It's pretty bright though, and the clamp works ok. I wish these USB powered lights would come with a power brick though. Depending on application and availability, you may need to purchase a brisk to plug the cord into.

Very good quality. Very bright even on low and the optical lens is good quality (not plastic). I did have to buy a 2.4 A power supply (Walmart under $5) because I tried one of my 1 A cube power supplies and it got very hot with the lights on high. It's great to be able to use both hands to work on something.

It's sturdy and very bright. It stays however you twist or bend it. The 5x makes the wirds too big to see a whole paragraph I should have gone with the 3x. However I have mine on the edge of my nightstand. Works Great for reading my prescriptions

Nice light, but the plug is USB so you need an additional adaptor. Took off a star for that.

I love this product. Definitely an excellent value for the price. I’m a crafter so this fits my needs for precision.

This Product is OK. It’s magnification is good and it brightness is good. However it needs to have a longer neck to really work on a desk or a work bench.

I bought this to help my old eyes weed vinyl and it is awesome ...nice bright light, good magnification and a solid clamp that attaches it to the table .

Use this for tattoos, for the price its great, the only this i could say is that i wish it was a bit brighter

Switch should be on the lamp, not hanging down out of reach
