The stand is plastic but painted with metallic paint. And engraved with the word “MARS”.

Anyone else’s dust glob up? There are chunks floating amidst the glitter.

I don't see anything wrong with mine. It is the same as when it arrived. It was a gift for my wife and she loves it. I don't see any chunks
