Of the 4 Trimmer's I've Now Owned, This is the BEST !!
This is my 4th nose hair trimmer - the past 3 were all Panasonic's (costing more than this one, btw). The Panasonics all suffered from the same problem - underpowered to do adequate trimming. When I was cleaning my last Panasonic, the cutting blades accidently fell down the bathroom drain. Panasonic wanted $10 just to talk to me about things. I was ready to order another Pansonic, then I came across this one. I thought, all 3 of my past trimmers didn't work well at all. This one is powered by two batteries (vs. all Panasonic's were a single battery), it had good reviews, let's give it a try. Good decision. It arrived today, I inserted two AAA's (it doesn't come with these) and tried it out. It works great; cuts well and has plenty of power - none of which can be said for my past 3 trimmers.

The best nose / ear hair trimmer I have found to date.
I've had a couple different nose/ear hair trimmers from TT Products and they've all performed great. The last one finally gave up the ghost about 2.5 years after purchase. I did replace the blades once, but as far as cutting ability and overall reliability for a $15 device I can't complain. My previous units to these were from Panasonic and when I had troubles with those and wrote Panasonic I never heard back from them. TT Products has always replied promptly. I just got this new one and it cuts as well as the last one I had from TT Products. I got this one because it has the lifetime warranty. I noticed some people state the tip gets hot after use. I've noticed that as well. But what I do is take a little 3 in 1 household oil and put some on a Q-tip. Then remove the metal trimmer head and take the blades out. Now take the Q-tip with 3 in 1 oil and rub it inside the blade holder. This not only lubricates the blade spinning area but also cleans out any old clippings. The first time you use it after cleaning and lubricating this way you'll get a whiff of 3 in 1 oil, but it doesn't bother me. It keeps the area clean and running smooth. I also have an old toothbrush I use to clean off the blades. Clean it this way every 3 or 4 times you use it and it will last for a long time.Really I've not found a better trimmer than the ones TT Products sell. And they are priced very reasonably. The fact that they actually have a lifetime warranty on this product is also quite amazing to me. Assuming they stay in business I guess I'll never have to buy another one :-).

The LED was super useful when trying to locate and trim those pesky ...
Some say the LED will blind you, but to them I say DON'T LOOK DIRECTLY INTO IT. The LED was super useful when trying to locate and trim those pesky nose hairs. Worked well though I was totally new to the sensation of putting a trimmer up my nose. It took some getting used to it before my eyes would stop watering from the tickle/new sensations. Give your nose a day or so to 'recover' also after first use. You will feel irritation every time you grab at/scratch at your nose from the short, shaved hairs. One down side to the trimmer was mentioned by other reviews: The trimming head does get warm after some time of use. Albeit my first use and I probably ran it longer than I will have to in the future. All in all, good product.

Closer examination(no thanks to the instructions) revealed that the manufacturer had thoughtfully applied an easily removed, pee
The device itself seems quite adequate for the task...once I got it operational. The instructions accompanying the device are completely misleading and, if you follow them precisely, your nose hairs will be 3" long by the time you first use it. First, the battery case cover cannot be turned clockwise, nor can it be "removed". It slides, and then can be popped open about 90 degrees to allow insertion of the power source(s). Instructions say to insert "the" battery with the positive terminal in the direction of the cutting head. In actuality, the device demands two AAA batteries (size not specified in the instructions, but not too difficult to figure out) and these must be inserted so that one battery positive terminal is inserted toward the cutting head, and the other inserted with the negative terminal toward the cutting head. Then, when the "on" button is slid upwards, a satisfying whirring noise is noted and the nose hair harvest begins. The device was noted to haven what appeared to be superficial mars and scrapes on the surface, to the extent that I suspected it had been used, and sold as new. Closer examination(no thanks to the instructions) revealed that the manufacturer had thoughtfully applied an easily removed, peelable, thin, plastic covering to both sides of the device. When removed, the surface was pristine and sleek.I only hope that more thought went into designing the device than went into writing the instructions. Time will tell.

Completely stopped working after <5 uses
Purchased based on reviews. Worked fine for few months then completely stopped working. It's not worth the hassle to return for a replacement - but would never purchase again or recommend. I have had other brands and they worked fine for several years until I would decide the technology had improved to the point it was worth getting a new one. I now have to purchase a new one (different brand of course) because this one stopped working after less than 5 uses over ~6 month period.
