Depending whether you use resistance bands or a cabled machine to what weight you'll be lifting with it, It does state is tested to over 700 lbs, Also you won't get a straight arm pull with it as its angled. hope this answers your question.

Hi. I don't find it a problem. If you rest it properly across your shoulders it's fine for squats. It's a great piece of equipment.

Can this be used to the Maximum weight using the single middle ring. (not the two side rings.) on a cable machine. Thank you for any help.

Yes that’s not a problem providing that you are using the middle ring for the resistance band clips to attach to. Then you would either use an a door anchor or use a band protector to stand on so that you don’t damage your resistance band during the exercise.
