Tactical Flashlight:I keep this flashlight next to the front door for night time trips to the mailbox.Very well made with anodized aluminum housing and very bright. 1,000 lumens is about as bright as a single low beam headlight on an older car.The focus adjustment is the best I have ever seen on a flashlight. From very tight beam to about a 60 degree beam can be set one handed and will stay where you set it.The batteries are not included. You can use 3 standard AAA batteries in the supplied adaptor or a single 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable. The 18650 is going to give you longer battery life.The rear push button on/off switch is fairly easy to accidently turn on, but reversing the battery fixes that problem if you know it is going to be bounced around in a pack or suitcase. Battery access is easy enough to do in complete darkness.Work light:The work light only uses 3 AAA batteries, not included. (Note the battery orientation is clearly marked but reversed from most flashlights.)The work light is bright enough to work under the hood of your car with no other lights.My wife uses it in daylight to highlight bubbles in resin that she uses in her art projectsThe beam light at the front is OK but not very bright.The magnet at the base is strong enough to support the light securely but the angle is not adjustable.The quality fit of the plastic housing make the seams hard to see. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to open the battery cover. Easy to open and secure once I found it. (Back half on base end of housing slides towards the magnet)

UPDATE: The seller saw my original review and asked if I would be interested in getting another one to see if they could change my mind. I put batteries in the work light and roughed it up a bit and it is not showing any signs of losing connection like the first one.Bought this for the work light, and when it gets slightly bumped the battery's loose contact and it either goes dim or completely turns off. Inconvenient when you are depending on the light to work. I returned it and I was able to buy a much better light elsewhere for half the price.

This flashlight set is excellent - the light is very bright and the beam goes a long ways. Great for the emergency kit and the car. Well made too!

Love the flashlight. The five modes are nice; wish that the ad explained how to switch to them. Found out playing with it. Very bright wide angle, zoom is excellent. The little flashlight is bright and handy with the magnet.

Bought this for my boyfriend during Christmas and he loves these flashlights. They are bright. My boyfriend builds old 1920s type cars so if you have a man who likes to work on cars he may like these too. Especially the magnet light so he can use both hands

I bought it for the little work light which is fantastic around the garage. I wish it ran on an 18650 though so I could use it all day. The flashlight is fine, but the "zoom" feature does not seem that important.

I like these for the price. My feeling that we were all smart and we know what we want.....until we see WHAT WE WANT and this can be two different things. This one performs well, good value. Could it be better made and heavier,Sure for more money. Good looking and performing product that will hopefully last years.
