Ugly Stik Elite Spinning Fishing Rod

By far the best pole I’ve ever owned. Very light weight and strong. Casting with ease and excellent distance. Very sturdy and stiff at base with excellent flexibility at tip. Excellent value for the price. Excellent for bass fishing, and bottom fishing.

It's Ugly Stick, it's every bit as good as claimed. If you get one, it'll soon become one of your favorite rods. This one was a present for my wife. After using it for 1 day she said it beats the other rigs we have. Unlike others that complained about shipping, this came in a Long STURDY box and arrived quickly. It's a good price for a great product.

I have it paired with a KastKing Sharky III spincast reel (3500 size), which might be slightly too big for this pole because the line brushes against the first eyelet too much, but doesn't prohibit good casts. Using braided 30lb test on it. Using it mostly for top water and light spinner baits.Cons: the top half will twist after a few casts so you have to keep re-seating it.Pros: Perfect for top water, small spinners, and worms. Has a great feel to it. Very light weight and strong. Definitely hits above it's weight class.

Love this ul 2-6 pound but honestly probably more like 10+ pounds durability 🎣 I personally like the cork handles on the elites very nice rod I got the 7 tf 2 pc ul straight gas for finesse fishing!! Must get another one

Ugly Stiks are fantastic rods for the money, you can't go wrong with them. Good fit and finish, never had any issues with sensitivity, reasonable priced considering the quality. I have a couple of ultra light and a couple of medium rods, they all serve their purpose well. Plus, the money you save on the rod can be out towards a more expensive reel, which is a better expense in my opinion.

UPDATE: Glad to see seller has updated the info within the listing to be correct with what you get.Sorta upset about this purchase from this seller. I purchased this item specifically because it's supposed to be a 2pc rod and withing the action and lure weight I specifically needed in a rod....as said multiple times throughout the info description etc this is a 2pc rod being sold. It is NOT a 2pc rod but a ONE PIECE rod. It's almost physically impossible for me to get to a lot of my fishing areas with a 7ft one piece rod. 2pc is doable but I've tried 6ft one pieces and struggled greatly. The thing I do not get is that I received 2 fishing rods when nothing is mentioned about 2 rods being sold in this add. So where as I'm not sure if I can complain I got 2 rods withing the actions and weight I needed but the fact I can't use them in over half of my fishing spots is extremely upsetting. I needed that 2pc rod and so on that note I can't help but be highly peeved....I needed this rod this weekend as a replacement to a different rod I broke pulling in an unexpected hawg. Really wish the seller was honest in the info they put into their selling and at this point I should have just purchased locally and now will end up spending more money to do so in the end. Overall the rod itself appears to be of decent construction but I can't speak on how it handles. These rods I feel would be good pond and open river rods but sadly I don't have a boat and going through woods to get to secluded bank spots. Wish I could give more than one star review but I can't give a good rating because of the false advertising within about the rod being a 2piece rod.

Please, for the love of God, put packing in the boxes. The rods eyelets bend. Mine wasn't in perfect condition but I easily bent the eyelets back. The action is a bit stiff, it casts pretty far even with light weights. I prefer the 2pc over 1 just because I like to keep my rods inside my truck and it fits better in 2. I am a life long customer of this company and I appreciate the value for the money with a quality rod. It's my first Elite series and first medium rod, we'll see how she works out.
