Life Coaching for Successful Women: Powerful Questions, Practical Answers

I have been a fan of Valorie Burton's for a number of years by reading her books and hearing her speak on a number of occasions. Her latest masterpiece is must read for women that are working to move to the next level. Valorie has provided the tools needed to coach yourself and others through almost any situation one would encounter. Not only is the book empowering, but also full of great resources one can use and return to measure growth in identified areas. Definitely a must read if you are feeling stuck and are trying to move to another level in your life.

I have been following Valerie for years. I started when she was developing a coaching course. It was on DVD, not even MP3. This small course, impacted my life and changed the course forever. Her new book (and course) is simple to follow and to refer back to. It, like all her other material is amazing. It feel like Valerie is right in the room with you - you feel it! Doe I sound like a Valerie Burton groupie - yep I am. Each book has met a different area of my life. I'm not a kid, by no means (68 young) but she continues to inspire and so do I. Worth double the price.

No one mentions this anywhere on the back of the book or in the reviews... But this book is pretty Christian. There's quite a few bible verses in here. So if you're not Christian and that bothers you- I would not buy this book.I grew up Christian, and I'm not anymore. Reading this isn't the worst since you're not completely bombarded with bible verses, but it definitely comes up every other chapter. It's a bit annoying- I wanted to support a Black life coach- not be preached to as if I was in church.

I’ve experienced Valorie’s exceptional work firsthand through her coaching, coach training, and other books and always look forward to her new releases. This is yet another great book by Valorie. It contains practical and engaging content. The format is 2 pages of insights and questions which nurture a sense of achievement. It’s not an overwhelming time commitment that distracts from other tasks. I’ve even circled back to a lesson for a quick mindset reset.

I got this book to read for a class that I'm taking. I was told to choose one, read it, and write a paper on it. When I downloaded it I had no idea that it was exactly what I needed at that very moment in my life!!!God has a way of bringing us what we need.The chapter on forgiveness hit me like a punch in the gut and caused me to realize that I have some things to get out of my life and heart.Every chapter seemed to hold something I can use to improve my life. I recommend this book to anyone who needs some guidance on getting from where you are to where you want to go.I'm looking forward to reading other books by this author.

Valorie Burton’s books have changed the course of my life. Her integrity and motivation to help others move forward - combined with her focus on positivity and resilience - make her a wonderful guide as you work towards your goals. This particular book is very practical and will give you ideas to immediately upgrade all areas of your life. Highly recommend - along with Valorie’s other books - to make the new year all that it can be!

I first met Valorie through her CaPP institute and her integrity and genuine spirit won me over immediately. This book is no different. I love how the chapters are chock full of powerful questions and how it guides you to go deeper in all areas of life. The book makes you feel as if she’s right there coaching you. I consider her a mentor in my life.

Just received my book and I've got to say I'm very impressed! The questions Valorie Burton poses are spot on. They encourage you to go beyond surface level answers by digging deep into what's behind your answers. This is a great book for any successful woman who wants to not only breakout but break through into their calling and destiny.
