Retinol Reform Peel,1 oz (30ml)

I'm not sure what other reviewers are referring to on here because I've ordered this product from Amazon on Shani Darden's website and it's the exact same product, and it's real, it even says it's sold by Shani Darden. It has always been a thinner consistency and it has always had an odor exactly the same from both Amazon and her website, I have never seen a difference. It's not overbearing odor but it's certainly not a delightful smell-- but I don't care because this stuff is amazing and makes my skin glow. It smoothes out lines and pores and I even let my husband try it and within one use his skin was glowing and smooth. I battled cystic acne from hormones and it definitely helped, along with other Shani Darden products. Obviously if you are using a retinol you need to use sunscreen and limit sun exposure, it's not always ideal in the summertime if you spend a lot of time outside but it really does make a significant difference in my skincare and when I skip or don't use it for a week or so I notice a difference. I love it, it's worth the price.

I used this product for 6 months buying it directly from my esthetician. She moved away and I was excited to find it on Amazon. So, I set up a subscription to purchase monthly. Right away I knew something was off. The product smelled really awful and it was watery thin. Never before had the product been that consistency or had an unpleasant odor. I continued to receive it for 2 more months. At that time, I contact the actual manufacturer who said that they were unable to confirm the authenticity of the product sold at Amazon. I ordered it directly from the manufacturer and am happy to say that is indeed the product I was using before. Sadly, I do not know what they are selling on Amazon, but it's not the same. That being said, I hadn't yet noticed any difference in its performance, but the smell is just awful and there is no way to know what the actual ingredients are in the product sold through Amazon.

3/12/18 - I think it helps to see reviews over time. I just used it for the first time last night before going to bed. I washed my face like normal. Pumped twice and put it all over my face. It did have an interesting smell but it did go away maybe within 10min. Nothing unbearable. After that, I put a regular night-time moisturizer, as suggested. I woke up this morning with zero dryness and my face felt smooth. Obviously, it's one night so I'm going to try to use it 3x a week in conjunction with my other nightly rituals and see how this works. My skin is generally oily - maybe that's why it didn't dry me out yet. More updates to come in a month. Thanks!

One of my fav beauty vloggers Teni Panosian raved about this so after much thought and research (as I know what works for some doesn't work for all), I decided to give this a try. A little background: I have combination/oily skin, hormonal breakouts on my chin and sensitive skin due to eczema. I return almost every product that people (vloggers & beauty editors) rave about because it irritates my skin. After one use (I used as part of my nighttime routine), I woke up with skin that looked glowing and my imperfections/acne scars were slightly faded! The instructions say to ween yourself onto the product (as most retinol products suggest), once a week then work up to every other day and I'm wishing I could rush that process to achieve that glowy, flawless skin! I did not have the dryness or redness like I did from other retinol products I've tried. I know this is high praise given I've only tried this once and I promise to update my review if things go south but I'm so in love with this I just had to share. I've already made my three best friends invest in this! If you're on the fence and reading this, it's worth it!

I am in my 20s, and have struggled with mild acne since I was 13. I've been hearing great reviews about this product for about a year now and have read how important it is for anti-aging to start using retinol in your 20s. I finally took the plunge and bought my first bottle and after 5 days I have seen such a change in my skin! My breakouts were focused around my chin and scattered around my forehead and I had mild discoloration on my cheeks. Retinol reform has made my chin blemish free, even small sebum blemishes which I didn't know I'd ever be able to get rid of, and has started to reduce small acne scars I've had from picking at my face. I am so amazed by this product and so happy I decided to buy it. Yes it is expensive but as long as you are frugal with the product you will be so happy with the results. I know this will be in my regimen for a long time.

I've used it every other day since I got this at the beginning of December and I have yet to see result maybe it doesn't work on everyone.

This product is GREAT!! I have really bad acne because of the birth control I was using. My face because a mess. I was so embarrassed and never wanted to go out anywhere. After using this product though, my face has changed! I've only been using it for about 3 weeks, but I already see improvements. I am hoping for more improvements but I understand the process can be slow. Getting the birth control out of your system can take time, but I am hoping once it's completely gone, this product will work wonders! More so than now :) My boyfriend has seen a huge difference on my face which means it's working!Before buying it, I read reviews that this product may dry skin and not to use it every day. However, I use it every night after my normal night routine. I would suggest just to play it by ear and if your face does start to get try, maybe don't use it as often.If you are having skin related issues, BUY THIS PRODUCT NOW!!
