replaced the old thermometer in the grill with this one. hardest part was removing the rusted screw from the old one. once that was done, this went in without any issues. shows accurate temperature. would recommend.

Great replacement better than factory
My factory thermometer broke the first week. Left a package of precooked BBQ ribs on the grill and came back to a huge flame and charcoal. Been without a gauge for 2 years. Finally replaced with this unit and works great. Easy to install with a nut on back.

Great product, poor packaging
Arrived in large box containing other purchases. This item had fallen out of its original small box and was bouncing around amid the other items. Thankfully was not broken. Has been installed and works as expected.Packaging quality seems to be hit or miss lately.

Perfect fit for the Sonoma grill.
Perfect fit. As noted by another reviewer - this does actually only go to 800 degrees - not 1000 as pictured.I have a Sonoma grill and this fit the original hole perfectly. My old unit had fallen apart years ago, now my grill looks new again.
