Does the job.
Easy to program with step by step instructions for those not familiar with this type of timer.The settings of individual timings can easily be changed even when in use. That said if you're using all the 10 daily time settings over a 7 day period plus random time settings for security, a spreadsheet of your On/Off & Random times I will help with your initial setup. Why did you choose this product over others?:Reasonable price. Simplicity of use.

Nice large screen
These digital timers tend to be complicated, but this one is quite easy once you've set it up. It's silent and has a large clear screen.

Brilliant! Great price considering 2 are included. Got my lights set up on a timer now, works every night no problem. Would recommend!

Good but are they new.
Seems to work fine. Easy to set up. However I don't believe they were new as I found a small screwdriver in the package used to activate the reset button. Amazon seem to be playing games these days it's the second packaged item I have found been opened. 3 stars due to my purchase findings.

Useful but a bit fiddly, and not truly 'Random'. Opportunity missed by the manufacturer...
We needed some new timers to replace the old mechanical ones. Went for programmable digital ones so that we could have more control and variety of timings. These are good, but could be better.Pros:- You can programme them without having to be plugged in.- Lot's of features and options for programming- they worked without issue and were not expensive.Cons:- They do take a while to setup even fairly basic timings. It's not very intuitive and the instructions & online explanations don't help to much. I frankly found the process for setting up multiple units very frustrating.- The 'Random' feature is not what I was expecting or wanted. You still have to programme the unit for your times and days desired. Selecting random will then tun on and off within certain defined start and end times per day.Here is a simple feature they could implement that will make this superb - Plug in, select 'Random' and the unit will come on / off at random times (meaning setup and installation is 2 seconds). If the units did this then they would be 5 star
