This is great balsamic. It is sweet, somewhat thick, and the predominant flavor note is prune.This brand is far better than the Giuseppe Giusti brand 25 year product (which incidentally says 25 years on the Amazon ad, but the bottle you receive does not mention age at all, and it tastes sour like at 12 year balsamic).So donʻt wast your money. If you want quality aged balsamic get this one.In an earlier review (2020) I mentioned that this was half the price of other Balsamics. That is no longer true, it now costs as much as the others. But it is still the best.

I purchased a very expensive bottle of Balsamic vinegar $125.00 for my son, after opening it on his birthday, the bottom half of the balsamic was solidified!!! I can’t return the item! I’m furious! I’ve purchased this before and it’s fine!
