Signature Design by Ashley Ricmen Leather Adjustable Oversized Power Recliner with USB Charging, Dark Brown

I found this chair on Amazon which ended up being almost a doppelganger of a chair I was buying and then canceled at the Lay-Z-Boy store. Lay-Z-Boy is having supply chain issues. I was already going to wait 4 months for the chair I was buying for my mother, then a couple of months after buying then waiting, was told by Lay-Z-Boy that the chair wasn't available till the end of the year (This was back in March)! I had already gotten rid of my previous furniture including a chair my mom used as I bought a sectional and was waiting for a chair. Lay-Z-Boy offered to sell the floor model to me but didn't reduce the price enough to entice me. I canceled the order and got my deposit back. A friend recently bought furniture on Amazon so I thought I would look at chairs. To my surprise, this beauty popped up on my screen, offering monthly payments, a warranty, delivery, and set up. And it was available within a week!!! I jumped on it. Funny thing is, this chair looks almost exactly like the chair I was going to buy at Lay-Z-Boy. Its darker in color, but it has the buttons for recline which my mom needs because of joint issues. Delivery was on time, and the delivery guys that set up the chair were friendly, carried the chair into the house, put the chair together where I wanted it, tested the mechanism, and took the paper, boxes, and plastic away when they were finished. The chair came in 2 or 3 pieces which they put together for me. I paid for the "concierge furniture delivery/put together service" so I recommend that if you like that sort of thing. My mom has used the chair now for 3 months and loves it. It is a buttery leather/fake leather combination. I think the parts that are exposed (the seat, headrest, etc.) that would wear out easier are leather while the sides and back (I think) are fake leather. The chair even after a few months still has the fresh leather smell. I will update after I have had the chair even longer.

this chair is hard and the leather cold....like sitting on a board covered in leather. buttons are so close to the floor you would have to be a monkey to reach them. design is not good and chair is very uncomfortable---head rest was good. I returned on 3-3-21 when logistic picked it up and still have not received my refund??? 3-15-21 I am still waiting for my refund, I have never had this happen with Amazon and I am a PRIME member....no communication from them and when I call I get another country...not USA. I have called 4 times...Buyers beware don't buy furniture from Amazon

This chair is big enough to get cozy alone or to snuggle with someone. We like that the headrest will also recline. It’s sturdy and looks great. The chair came in 2 pieces. My husband and I were able to easily assemble it.

Almost perfect wide-seat recliner. However, would have liked a grounded electric outlet for the iPhone charger adapter. Comfortable. Easy to install. Good value.

Superbly comfortable! Sturdy Build, and the leather is soft and inviting! Smooth electric motor. Delivery was two days delayed, but the "Room of Choice" delivery was excellent.

After purchasing product I initially enjoyed it until the mechanics broke after 3 weeks use. Took me over a year to get a result. Ashley furniture will not touch anything sold 3rd party. Amazon ask me to email pictures or issues. Which I did and then I would go for months trying to get a response from this. Back n forth it went to no avail. I simply wanted it fixed as the warranty on the product states 5 year recliner mechanism warranty. I literally used this 3 weeks maybe 8 or 10 sits and it broke. I spent $1000 on a recliner I need and it failed. Ashley Furniture failed and did Amazon. I have yet to get a replacement of entire item or parts. Every time I call I'm on the phone and end up get hung up while on hold. He'll I just want the parts if it so bad. I'll fix it myself. Poor customer service with zero satisfaction for both Ashley furniture and Amazon. I spend thousands on Amzon and nothing resolved.
