Works great. Provides peace of mind.
In order for this to work, I had to chisel out some wood from the door frame where the piece goes in the hole. Because the hole wasn’t deep enough.Sometimes I have difficulty getting the two pieces to connect together because it really needs to be lined up a certain way.I have to say I do feel so much safer when I’m home because I live in an apartment and I know the managers got keys.It’s a creative wonderful invention for safety.The only problem is when I leave the house. LoL It does me no good but other than that it seems very well put together, sturdy material.Just takes a little finessing to open and close it each time.somewhat time consuming.But overall, it’s definitely worth it for my peace of mind to sleep better at night.Overall, I would highly recommend this product. Especially if you’re staying in an Airbnb.I’m using mine in the front door, but it could be used for any door in the house. like a bedroom door that has no lock or the lock you can open very easily by pushing a Bobby pin or similar object through the pin hole.Provides peace of mind for this single mom.Thank you.🔐

Don’t hesitate to buy!
I use this for extra protection in my apartment and knowing this is on the door every night allows me to sleep like a baby! Definitely can be used for travel, super easy to use but not easy enough for my kids to mess with and take off without my permission!

Good for Extra Security, But Not Foolproof
This portable door lock is a nice extra layer of security, but it takes some practice to get the hang of installing it, depending on your door. It’s a good addition for peace of mind, but I wouldn’t rely on it as the only form of security. With enough force, I think someone could still get the door open.

Happily Surprised
I’m shocked at how well this works. It’s actually probably too cheap. Somebody would need to really break in the door on purpose to break this. Definitely portable and easy to use. I don’t understand why it doesn’t have more than 4.2 stars.
