Bought January 2022. Today is April 15, 2015. Little over 3 years. The thick black rubber cord protection has separated from the plug. I noticed the cord itself Feeling stiff and twisty near the plug a couple weeks ago. 3 years feels shortlived; would have liked closer to 10 years…However, on the pro side, I bought this cord anticipating a lengthy hospital stay and it served me well. I was able to use an available outlet far from the bed to play sound at night/earphones and keep phone charged. The 10 foot cord is Great. I am reordering .
