pooch paw Dog Brush with Silicone Pins – Grooming & Shedding Massage Brush

Trialled this little brush on two dogs, my mums elderly spaniel Tilly, and my Ted (above), he is a Havanese boy who isn't normally too fond of grooming time. This brush however is soft and not painful for him, and the silicone glides through his fur easily. He doesn't have much issue with shedding as he is a hypoallergenic breed- so I tried it out on Tilly too- who often leaves Mum's house covered in little white tumbleweeds when she sheds. Silicone is a brilliant material for this as the hairs cling to the brush, making the process much less messy and easier to clean up afterwards than it would typically be. Tilly really enjoyed being brushed by the Pooch Paw too!

I bought this for my heavy shedding labrador and I was very pleased! We usually use a wire brush, which did the job but seemed too rough and scratchy. This silicone brush made her fur soft and shiny while still being super gentle for her. The handle made it easy to hang onto while my girl tried to wiggle away (she always does no matter the brush!)I'd highly recommend this brush to any dog owner with looking to clean up their mutt!I've added some pictures of my now very shiny lab!

We bought this product for our 2 year old spaniel-cross. He has relatively long hair and quite smooth naturally, but he does get tangled when we have been out for long walks - grass, sand, mud etc.We have found that the brush is very effective, our dog isn't mad keen on getting brushed but it seems to bother him less than the usual "rough bristles" style we have used previously. It reminds me a little bit of the tangle teaser which I use on my own hair. It is very easy to use and seems well designed.My only gripe with the product, as I think it is reasonably priced and effective at making your dog's coat look healthy and shiny, is that I prefer a stick to hold. I think I am probably in the minority there as my partner finds it more comfortable to use a brush style like the Pooch Paw. I am wondering if it may result in us having to go to the groomers less often - currently we take our dog every 2 months but I can see it reducing the need from excess hair, etc.All in all, we have been impressed so far and would recommend.

My two short haired puppies run off when I get the brush out but not with this. They love it. I was very sceptical that it would get the hair off but it took loads of excess hair off my dogs. One of them has been shedding allot of hair and I’ve not had any problems since I used this a few days ago. Allot more hair than my usual brush. Great product. Thank you.

I have a 14-year-old Cocker Spaniel who has sensitive skin. Due to this, she wriggles a lot during grooming. This grip on this brush stopped me from dropping it and made it easy to work on all areas of her coat, even the difficult chest and stomach. The pins on this brush are soft and rounded which my dog seemed to enjoy as I got a lot of tail wagging. She actually likes being brushed with this and it is great for getting out early knots, leaving a shiny coat. Great product would recommend for sensitive skinned dogs.

There wasn't really anything that I didn't like. It was just that when I used ot on my cavashon i expected hair to be on the brush but was none ,but it could be that he's had a groom a month ago & his fur isn't thick enough yet.

Super to use dog brush and my 9 week old puppy loves it - so gentle on her. She also thinks it makes a super toy and loves playing with it. So a definite result as far as she is concerned! For me, I think the teeth are a fabulously soft yet leave her coat lovely and soft and smooth, so a result for me too. Thank you :)

I use this on my Jack Russell when she's shedding, ie; all year(!) but especially spring and summer. She loves it and it produces piles of hair, best done outside on a slightly windy day to blow away excess. Better than the Furminator and she tolerates this better - in fact she comes back for more. It's more like a massage with the soft silicone chunky 'bristles' and it seems to grab the hair readily. Recommend highly.
