A Curl Bar would be very short. But, you possibly could use it. I’ve never tried it that way. I only use the bar bell.

Does this fit Pendlay competition bumper plates?

It fits a standard Olympic plate, you would have to measure the hole in a standard Olympic plate. I don’t have bumper plates but fits well my plates.

Hello, for space savers, I use two 45 pound Olympic plates or 2 to 3 count 25 pound Olympic plates to insert one side. The other end you will need a standard Olympic bar (45#) or shorter if available. Then you will need get a T-bar attachment for the other end of the Olympic bar.
