I bought one of these to make a special gift for my niece's first birthday. The kit was totally friendly for beginners, gives you everything you need and the gift turned out beautifully! The only thing I did wish I had at one point was something to help thread the needle because they're so little. It comes with the handiest pair of scissors too!

Comes with everything you need, even a cool pair of scissors. Its been years since I've cross stitched, so I re-learned and taught my 8yr old. The booklet teaches you quite a few dufferent stitches. Made me want to practice embroidery.

The kit is very elaborate and has everything you need to get started, however I found myself having problems understanding how to sew a French Knot and Lazy Daisy stitch. I still can't get the hang of it and it's quite annoying. The fact that it's small makes little room for error and you need to get it right the first time or the ink will rub off.

I decided this winter that I wanted a new hobby. I have tried knitting (fail), crocheting (fail), bought a sewing machine (fail), but with this kit I have been able to keep my hands busy, has good instructions and I have been able to create some cute pieces. It has been much easier than I could have anticipated especially based on my prior history of fails!

All the materials were included so you could start working on it immediately. The directions were easy to understand.

Arrived today and was surprised to find one kit was already started! Guess they gave up after a dozen stitches and sent it back. The threads were all mixed up as well. Not worth returning as the other kit looks OK and finishing the one already begun is easy. Oh well.

My granddaughter wanted to learn how to embroider. I purchased this item because it seemed to have basic stitches. She is delighted with it! The directions for the stitches are very clear. She has completed one, and is ready to start on the second.My only recommendation would be to include instructions for separating the threads, and mo a needle threader.

Great starter kit! Pattern was reasonable and offered lots of practice with different stitches. I was able to watch quick YouTube tutorials and feel confident!

Super facile à faire pour les débutants et relaxant. J'adore. Par contre le tissus est un cheap mais ça va pour une débutante comme moi.

Due to current situations I decided to pick up a new hobby. After years of watching embroidery videos I decided to finally try it and this was the first kit I purchased. It is brilliant! Easy to use and understand although sometimes I did use my own stitch ideas due to personal preference.
