Auto-Brown and Manual-Brown-White interchanged
This is a great product at an affordable price. However, the industry standard for connecting these (for the auto mode) is to use the brown wire as +ve and black wire as -ve and if you aren't using manual mode, seal and tie off the brown-white wire. When I connected it for auto mode as documented in their manual and as described above, it ran continuously. For a moment, I thought the float switch wasn't working properly but I read someone else's review who indicated that the brown and brown-white wire functions were improperly reversed. After switching these two, my bilge worked correctly in auto mode.

NO MORE Dinghy bailing.
Walker Bay 8' dinghy. It was a pain in the butt always bailing the dinghy. I secured this pump behind the middle seat in the trough. Hooked it up to a motorcycle battery that's bungied under the seat. Drilled the exhaust hose out the starboard side near seat and hooked up a small solar panel. There is a very little bit of rain water in the trough to sponge up but that's it. This pump is powerful and has operated flawlessly for over a year. This setup is maintenance free.

Good sump pump for utility uses
While sold for boat bilges, I use this to raise HVAC condensate up and out of my cellar. Good flow, float switch seems real reliable.

Brown and Brown/White Wires Are Reversed!
I needed to replace a couple of old bilge pumps. My boat has standard marine wiring and I started connecting the new wires to the old wires but the pump wouldn’t work correctly. I used a multi-meter and then verified by (finally) reading the manual. Most bilge pumps use the brown wire for automatic operation, that is using the internal float switch. The brown-white wire is used for manually turning on the bilge pump. The Aurelio Tech pump reverses these colors! The pump itself is great, but this is a really bad wiring design. Make sure to test your pump after wiring it.

Emergency pump, now my main pump.
Needed a quick inexpensive backup bilge pump. Well, now it is my main pump and I will buy another as backup. Works everytime. Thanks Amazon.

Works well, good value.
Installed it in a boat as a secondary pump for water getting through the cover. Works well in this capacity although it won't completely pump dry due to the configuration of the float switch, but that's pretty common. Seems well made and does the job. Good value.

what is loose inside
looks like a good product but when I shake the pump (while holding the float) I can here a rattling piece inside the pump housing... serious maybe not but who knows. keeping the pump anyway hopefully the loose particle won't come and jam the motor when I need it in my sump pump "back-up installation"2 stars for the worries aboutthe rattle
