I received the base game as a Christmas gift and loved the game. I found this expansion and picked it up so we could add a 5th player, which I normally have in my gaming groups.This added enough cards to play with 5 players and having dragons / creatures and now demons is great. I will state that the scrolls are an ok addition as it can delay a good action until a later turn but overall they are used very few times.I would highly recommend this expansion if you need to play with 5 players or if you want more options to play with.Would love to see just more cards in general for this game in future expansions with no other mechanics.

The base game is great and this expansion makes it even better. Once added, you almost can't tell it's an expansion as it just feels like it's supposed to be in there.

This expansion added Demons, Magic items and Magical Places, as well as scrolls. The scrolls are fun, but don't add a ton of extra fun, but the Demons are awesome and add a great new critter to play. Love the additions. For anyone who loves the base game, this is definitely worth it.

Great expansion, super easy to add to the base game. It adds more stuff and new stuff as well, and fits seamlessly into the base box. It further extends the replayability to an already very replayable game.

I honestly love Res Arcana. It is one of my favorite games of all-time. So this purchase was a no brainer. If you own Res Arcana and are debating getting the expansion. Debate no longer and buy it! Highly recommend!

if u like the base game, you’ll love expansion. this is from just a pure 2 player perspective. higher player counts scale better with expansion but it’s already worth it for just 2 player

Loved the adjustment to the rules based on player counts. Very pleased that the expansion fits in the original box with the base game.

We love Res Arcana! It is one of my family's favorite game. We are a family of six. We were so excited for a way to add players (even though it is only supposed to be for 5 we can play with 6.) We like the new additions and it changes up the game for sure. The only thing that would've made it better would've been a lower cost. It is about 1/2 the cost of the original but you are only getting a small, in my opinion, amount of cards.
