Really works well. Using it for small shop. Holds up well

It's a really sturdy and well built air compressor, it also has metal wheels and rubber tires to haul it around! It has great pressure and the controls are easy to use, so it should be easy to use my air nailers and tools. The shipper(UPS) didn't treat it carefully at all, both wheel mounts were bent and chipped, and the plastic holder for the air filter was smashed, along with the cover to hold the filter in was broke!! I had to use tape to hold it in place!! Hopefully I can get replacement parts for it!! Other than shipping, it's a great air compressor!!

I have had the "big brother" to this air compressor for about 20 years, 18 of those at my ranch. In all of those years, this compressor was a champ. I once counted tires at the ranch, and it was somewhere around 75 tires on trailers (gooseneck cattle, gooseneck utility hauling 28' and 40', bumper pull utility), various farm implements, etc. Also tires on 2 large cab tractors all take a lot of air, and this compressor always did the job. We sold the ranch about two years ago, and when we sold all of the equipment at the ranch, compressor came home! It is like the Energizer Bunny: just keeps on running!

I am glad I purchased this product which is more than adequate for filling tires which is all I use it for. An excellent product. It is quiet. I did give it a 4 instead of a 5 due to the fact that the use of a cheap plastic retainer for the air filter.

This product arrived on time, they didn't let me know it arrived. It was sitting out in my driveway where it could have been STOLEN, luckily it wasn't.Box was in great shape. Opened the box and all parts were there and nothing broken. Easy to put together and started right up and it's quite compared to my last one.It all good, thanks Craftsman.

Switch went out, they wanted me to fix it, promised a new switch, never showed up. Very disappointed in this "American" company.

I have had a Craftsman "hot dog" air compressor for about 40 years; bought it in the early 80's. The pressure regulator was starting to leak so the compressor would cycle frequently, and I was starting to get concerned about tank rust so I decided it was time to get a new one. The old one max'ed out at about 120 PSI and would cycle back on at about 100 PSI. This unit is smaller, lighter, quieter and has a much higher max pressure. A consequence of the higher max pressure is that it has about the same capacity (10 gallons) as the old one. Since most of the time I will be using it at pressures below 100 PSI, the compressor won't cycle nearly as often. The moisture drain at the bottom of the tank is a ball valve which is a feature I like a lot; the old screw type tended to seize up after a while. One thing I would wish for, however, would be a bit longer power cord. This one will probably outlive me (I'm 75).

Compressor came undamaged though the box was starting to come apart. It was very easy to unpack and set up, less than 10 minutes from the time I received the message that it was delivered to having it up, fully assembled and running. The noise level is very tolerable and cycle time very short. All my attachments fit, so no extra cost involved. Light weight and it fits in the back of my truck with good clearance for my fifth wheel when I take the handle off (15 seconds)
