Graco TableFit High Chair, Rittenhouse

APPEARANCE: This is my 3rd gender neutral appearance highchair, and my favorite, hands down. Not too cutesy OR pretentious. The pattern looks very crisp and the piping on the edges of the cover are tight and well made. Some have mentioned that the white of this pattern is more cream than white. While it's not a bright white, it definitely doesn't have the yellowish look of a cream color. I would call it a soft white.SAFETY: This replaced another folding Graco highchair that had an annoying tendency to be very unstable when folded. With this one, I'm happy to say that it is actually very steady when folded up. Surprisingly so. So less danger of falling over if you have to keep it in a corner like we do. The five point harness works well, and really is as easy to adjust as they show in the video. Plus, if you just want to use the lap portion of the belts, the shoulder straps are easy to tuck out of the way behind the patterned adjusting pad. The tray is the easiest to take on and off one-handed that I've ever owned, yet my baby hasn't figured out how to dislodge it, either, so no pinched fingers!PERFORMANCE: My now 17 month old (wearing 18 month clothes) has always seemed very happy and comfortable in it, even with the straps on. I like that the recline option is there if she gets food coma. I can even adjust it while she is sleeping as the mechanism for it is SO smooth (my old highchair would wake a sleeping baby if this was tried). It cleans VERY easily. Concerns about not being able wash the fabric seat cover in a clothes washer are unnecessary. Based on prior experience with this type of water-proofed fabric, I wouldn't wash this in a clothes washer - it would eventually ruin it's waterproofing. Also, having to air-dry between meals would take too long, and you would NOT want to put this in a dryer. That would ruin it for sure. Just wipe it down really well. I use Lysol's Dual Action wipes for when it's really messy, then follow with a damp rag to remove any cleaning chemicals. SUPER fast and easy. The tray cleans VERY easily (whether hand-washing, or putting the upper detachable tray in the dishwasher) and both are still stain-free a year later . I also like the more square design of this tray (it's a larger surface area) and appreciate having a deeper cup holder as an integral part of the tray, as she can't knock her bottles/cup off as easily.DURABILITY: After nearly a year of use, this still looks and functions like brand new! Would definitely buy again and recommend it highly!

Likes: nicely cushioned, classy design, height setting easy and useful, easy to clean design, easy to remove cushion for cleaning just wipe down and done, rolls smoothly everywhere, chair back reclines to 3 setting. I put my infant in there sometimes so she can see me work in the kitchen. I put the chair on recline and she sits laying back or hunches forward gumming at the tray which is super easy to clean so it's clean enough for mommy to allow that. The top tray pops off so I wash it in the sink and the bottom tray usually avoids any big mess so I just wipe it down. Tray is huge but that's great because my toddler loves to bring his toys to mealtime. Don't judge.Dislikes: there is a small tray like thing that holds the main tray. It must be removed by pulling the tab on each side. So after removing the main tray an older child cannot slide off his chair unless this tray is manually removed. So we just lift our kid into the seat and out of the seat. But it can be done only if chair is reclined down to allow room. We got used to it so it's fine for now but once this boy gets heavier we couldn't do that anymore. Then we'd have to remove the tray like thing as a two step process. Just kinda of a hassle I guess..but I can see it just designed that way as a safety feature.Also this chair has a huge footprint. Definitely not for tiny dining rooms. So far none of us have tripped on its wide wide legs. It only works at the head of the table for us but anywhere else and it'd block traffic.Well atleast it looks good and cleans wonderfully. Also if you have trouble with reclining the chair even when you depress the button in the back of the seat, it helps to slightlypull forward the chair as you push the switch and it works that way. Just a tip..

I read so many great reviews about this chair and they're all right! Super convenient and comfortable! My four-months-old loves it! He just starting with solids and it's kind of hard to feed him, but in this chair he stands still with no risk of falling since he needs some support to stay sitted. The fabrics that the chair cover is made of are great, easy to clean and so it is the removable tray as well. The only detail came up when assembling, the legs have a small indent in one side of each and there's nothing about it in the instructions or the videos we found, they make really hard to attach the parts. You need to be really strong to put them toguether, I had to wait for my husband to assembly it basically because of that. Also, great price for what you receive. The chair looks very strong and long lasting, and finding that for less than $100 was kind of awesome! The feature I love the most is that you can adjust the high levels to make it easier for you to feed your Baby comfortably.
