Versachalk Chalkboard Contact Paper W/Marker 18"X96"-

We purchased this combo back in February this year (roughly 5 months ago). Since it's arrival we have been using the chalkboard contact paper and have been pleased with it. It adhered to our fridge nicely, has not come off or peeled at the edges, it has stayed put. Our only qualm was that the bonus chalk marker was dead on arrival. From the moment we opened it from it's individual plastic wrap, it was not working. We used normal chalk we bought our son a while ago to write on the contact paper.Last week I came on here to write a review for this product. On a whim, I decided to contact Versachalk via email first to inform them of our doa marker. I conversed with Nori who sent out a replacement free of charge. Last night the replacement white chalk marker arrived, along with a bonus purple one (thanks Nori!). Initially, both of these seemed to have the same issue as the first. We could not get them to work. We are completely green when it comes to chalk markers in our home. After my husband fiddled with the markers for a bit, he realized you have to take the tip out (yellow part you write with), put it back in the opposite direction so it can "soak" the chalk ink, then pull it back out and write with the soaked tip. This worked on both markers and they write so beautifully now. While it's not easy to rub off the chalk ink with our fingers like we did with the other chalk, we found that wiping the chalkboard paper with a paper towel wet with merely water takes the chalk ink completely off. We then use a dry paper towel to wipe off any wetness on the chalkboard paper, and it's now ready for more writing via chalk marker!Overall, we are very happy with the chalkboard paper as well as the chalk markers made by this company. We are furthermore thoroughly pleased with their exceptional customer service as well.

So glad I bought this. Stuck well to a less than perfect metal chalkboard which was bumpy and would require lots of time to resurface..which I did not have time to do. The grid lines in the back of the paper were helpful so I could cut straight. I did not use the pen yet but I was happy that it was an extra bonus that came along with the paper. At first I was skeptical that this paper would work for my dry chalk as I figured it was made for wet chalk only. But I was surprised that it very easily and nicely worked for dry chalk. I tried a normal cotton rag to erase at the beginning but it would not clean up my chalk marks well because this contact paper has tooth to it and easily grabs chalk, luckily I also bought VersaChalk's 100% natural chalkboard cleaner which came with a microfiber cloth to erase and it was a good combo and helped me out a lot. I also used this contact paper to make a label onto a glass bottle and over a metal faced drawer. It stuck perfectly! I'm a fan!

THe chalkboard vinyl contact paper is great and easy to use. It cuts easily And has grid lines to help guide you. The only thing I would Prefer to change is to have the grid lines across all the backing instead of having their company information/logo blocking a large chunk of grid lines. I just used a ruler and pencil to fill in the rest of the gridlines, so just a tiny inconvenient. I purchased chalkboard markers to go with this set, and they all work perfectly and come off great except for white. For some reason, the white marker leaves a lasting mark on it. I use a paper towel and warm water (sometimes with soap) to remove the markers and they come off easily.I have only stuck the vinyl on and haven’t removed it (i made a chore board and a handmade refrigerator calendar) and have had no reason to remove it, so I can’t speak to how well it removes from surfaces. I can however say that it sticks for a long time. I’ve had my vinyl on my refrigerator and board for over a year without any problems.

I put this chalkboard paper up over the summer, and have each time we’ve used it, it’s been a struggle to clean. The writing in the picture is done with chalk - the same that I use on other chalkboard contact paper. I’ve tried wiping it with paper towels, using diaper wipes, even cleaning spray and scrubbing - hard. It is just not coming off.

We used this on the kids Thanksgiving table as a runner this year! We have a 6 ft white plastic folding table and ran it down the middle. The kids added comments and season greetings and played tic-tac-toe. The contact paper went on easily (I tried lifting and repositioning-worked fine) stayed in place without curling or rolling throughout; the chalk stays in place-even if you brush or lightly rub it with your hand-as long as water isn't applied. We left the table runner on the table for 5 days before removing it to test the liquid chalk and the contact removal. VersaChalk nailed it! Their chalk drawings wipe away cleanly without shadows (and did not stain the white table top) and the contact paper removes even easier than it applied! Amazing! I still have some contact paper left and plan to make some labels for my pantry jars. I wonder if this would work as a growth chart on the inside of a closet door????? Sounds like a distinct possibility! ;-)

I purchased two of these in hopes that they were big enough to cover my daughter's wall by her bed. They weren't, they covered half the wall, but by the time I could run to store to get some additional chalkboard contact paper rolls, the next morning, they fell off the wall and didn't stick as well as I'd liked. If it was cut up into various sizes or maybe on a smooth wall, it would have been perfect. As I was installing them on our textured walls, the chalkboard was still effective enough to write legibly and clearly draw. I should have just utilized these as a means of putting on the refrigerator and along the house for notes and decorating such with various frames.There was a Bonus white chalk marker that came with each roll, and they were packed well. The company seems nice, as they asked me to leave an review. Which prompts me to say that I paid for my items. I will also leave a separate review on the chalkboard markers.While I threw the VersaChalk contact paper away because of being frustrated, I'd recommend this, but not to cover all of a textured wall. Just parts.

works well, using it as weekly menu chalkboard at kitchen and the rest on the wall in playroom for kid's whatever he wants to draw :) a bit lagging behind on the edges but not too much

No es apto para superficies calientes, rugosas o donde paga el sol peto va fenomenal, me ha gustado he hice un pedido para una amiga que lo utilizo en su peluquería, es buena idea añadir un marcó para que no se despegue de los lados con el tiempo.

I have had these for a while now and although its useful to help me keep track of things, when it comes to washing it to start anew it doesn't come off properly even with warm water which it claims to do.
