Sensational Buttercream Decorating: 50 Projects for Luscious Cakes, Mini-Cakes and Cupcakes

Best book I own! If you are a beginner or even a intermediate baker, this IS the book you need! I bought 5 books because I am a beginner cake decorator and wanted to get all the info I could. But a lot of the other books would have been very hard for me to understand if I had not already been on Youtube doing research on cake decorating for months! But this book was extremely easy to understand and taught me a lot of the stuff that I learned on Youtube, but with even more information, recipes and ideas! After reading this book, which is a really BEAUTIFULLY spiral bound book, you really only need to watch some Youtube videos because you will understand them better! I would definitely recommend this book especially if you are starting out!

I love this book!!! I am a beginner cake decorator and I have learned so much and I am I just on the first chapter. I like the way the author breaks down information such as explaining what types of supplies you need and why you would use a certain type verses another. She also gives you hints on the side of the page that goes along with the information in the paragraph next to it. As I am reading, it feels like I am learning in a classroom. The pictures are soooooooo helpful!!!! I am a visual person and I need pictures. After reading and viewing the step by step pictures I feel very confident that I can make a beautiful cake.

I have been decorating cakes for years and have recently started getting more intricate in my designs. This book is a really well illustrated book with step by step instructions. The information is detailed including exactly what supplies you will need and the techniques used to achieve the results. I also love that it is spiral bound so it lays flat while I am working.

The book has some really great ideas and techniques for what you can accomplish with buttercream. I love the color photos and the step by step instructions. She breaks down these seemingly complicated cakes into easy to understand pieces. Even though I cooked professionally for many years, I learned some great tips and tricks. Novice and experienced alike will learn something.The vegan and gluten cake recipes are an added bonus as well. The only thing that wasn't quite to my taste was her swiss buttercream recipe. It's not as sweet as I prefer but her decorating methods are really why I purchased the book. If you are interested in learning or expanding your buttercream decorating skills, this book is a great addition to your library.

Very nice book the techniques are easy to follow and fun once mastered! The skills are not hard to master and lend themself to beautiful results. It would be great if on kindel but I also do not mind a real book! My customers love the results as well a touch of spring even when it is snowing outside. So this is well worth the purchase if you desire to creat great art using buttercream!

I'm a semiprofessional cake maker who has 2 shelves full of decorating books. This is my absolute favorite of all. It just arrived today, and I slowly savored it from cover to cover. The step-by-step photos are gorgeous, and the author explains things well. I love her designs and can hardly wait to make each and every one. Also, the loose leaf binder allows keeping the book open for reference as you work.

Me ha encantado. Es un formato de fichas,muy completo y con un monton de ideas para tartas y cupcakes. Tambien trae recetas de crema de mantequilla con merengue suizo,(mucho mejor que la receta de crema de mantequilla normal)y bizcochos normales y veganos.

Ottime spiegazioni, foto per ogni step di decorazione, veramente ben fatto! C'è un capitolo corredato di immagini che spiega come utilizzare le bocchette per ottenere le varie decorazioni!
