Q: Is the crock available as a replacement part. Ours is cracked after only using a handful of times?

I really enjoyed this slow cooker, but the crock cracked and was leaking. I contacted Black and Decker; they referred me to the company that actually manufactures the slow cooker for Black and Decker, and was told the crock part was no longer available for purchase. Makes no sense to me, since they still appear to be manufacturing the cooker, so could sell replacement parts if they wanted. I will look for another brand.
