Strong nice magnets, good paint job on colored parts of easel, strong, perfect size for my 3 year old/soon to turn 4 year old, suspected to last for a while, cup holders are convenient, easy to put together, easy to adjust height, looks nice, nice and working chalk board, my daughter has enjoyed it a lot and uses it often.This is the only easel that I have found on the market that includes numbers and letters on both sides of the easel. This is another great way for kids to continue to practice writing and using their numbers and letters. I love that. The magnets are six different basic shapes and colors, each has its own number from 1 to 6. *The only thing that I would change is to have Capital Letters on one side and Lowercase on the other side instead of both sides being lower case. This would be a big improvement so kids can practice both Capital and Lowercase. I hope that they make this change for other little ones, but this is not too big of an issue.Extras:The easel comes along with the already mentioned magnets (square, circle, triangle, star, crescent, and octagon.) It also comes along with paper, 3 paint cups, small chalk, dry erase marker, and eraser. The magnets are good for using them for exactly what ever you need the magnets for and for discussing and tracing the shapes. The magnets help pin the paper in the top corners well, they are also quite strong which is good. The chalk is good for small chalk, it works well on the chalk board. The dry erase marker works. The chalk board eraser works well, too.How good is each part of the easel:The chalk board is nice and is written on easily. The dry erase board writes on well. Both boards erase and come clean easily. The green tray that holds the three paint cups is sturdy and has enough room for a small paint organizer or caddy. It holds the paint cups well on one side and it has a section for your chalk, eraser, and marker on the other side. It has a slot on the bottom of the board to push the bottom of the paper into to keep hold of the paper while painting. It is very easy to change your paper roles. It is easy to adjust the height which should only need done as your child grows anyways. I imagined the easel to be a bit taller than what it is, but it is a good width and the height fits my daughter great and should for a while. It is sturdy. The three paint cups predictably have lids, the lids are easily removed and put back onto the cups. With each cup comes another plastic part inside the cup that looks like it is to make the cups more splash resistant and less messy. This has proved to be true as my child paints. It is easy to clean all together.What doesn't come with the easel that you will need or find very necessary and useful:It does not come with paint and I am sending a Duh your way by weirdly reminding you that you need to buy paint for your easel.You will quickly realize that you need to buy a drop cloth to catch paint while your child uses the easel. If you have old sheets, those will work great. Painting clothes and or paint aprons/smocks are necessary. Paint brushes, at least a few and various sizes. Extra paper roles, my little painter ran out of the paper quicker than I thought she would. Extra cleaning rags are great to have on hand.Overall:It is a pretty nice easel. Simple and well made to be nicely interactive. It will last for a while. It is a nice looking easel. It came nicely packaged, in good shape, with very easy directions, and with everything it was supposed to. I recommend this for everybody.

This is a beautiful easel and we are so pleased with it. I bought it for a 2 year old who is 3' tall and the legs are short enough that he can use the entire surface. He's too young for markers so I bought Crayola dry erase crayons which work on the white board although you really need water to get the crayon marks off easily. By the way, this easel comes with only one marker for the white board. In the "What's In The Box?" section, it states that the easel comes with 3 markers but customer service confirms that it comes with only one marker.I'm a tad disappointed that it doesn't fold up...at least not while the legs are in the shortest position. If you loosen the green tray, it will bump into the wing nuts shaped like stars which hold the legs in place. This means you can't fold the easel up unless you remove the star nuts completely, in which case the legs will come apart. Also, the tray will hang down below the legs. It may be that if the child is about 4-1/2' tall, this problem will go away but I can't be sure.Lastly, there are no instructions about seasoning the blackboard before use but all blackboards must be seasoned with chalk before use or the first scribbles/words will be "burned" into the board and can never be erased. I used the chalk that came with the easel but that chalk was too sharp even on its sides and left horizontal lines in the board. I put his name at the top of the white board.

I am very happy with the purchase, it came within 3 days of ordering and assembling was a breeze. It is a lite weight colorful wood magnetic easel. It has all functions one want in an easel for a very reasonable price compared to its competitors. It is compact and folds flat for storage but at the same time provides decent size boards to write and draw. It comes with an eraser, marker, chalks, plastic cups, paper roll and few magnets, which is a huge plus. My 5 year old is super impressed with the easel and for sure will have years of fun (thanks to its height adjusting feature). While I can't yet comment on the product durability, it is working perfectly fine for now.Update: It is the most used toy and is holding up very well with rough handling of my child. White board magnetic side is my child's favorite, we use markers, crayons and magnets. Black board is a bit squeaky and dull, chalks that come with easel are pathetic, I purchased separate chalks but still the black board performance is just mediocre. Overall I am still happy as white board offers multiple fun options and my kid don't care much about black board anyways.

Pros: Nice-looking and well-made with a generous storage area. Better looking than the other easels on the market which was important to me since it's such a big piece of equipment to store in the public area of my small house. Also the little number magnets that came with it are cute and it's nice that it arrived supplied with paper. My sons also use it as a little "house" and play under it or drape a sheet over it.Cons: My big complaint is that I was hoping that the chalkboard would be the magnetic part, but instead the chalkboard is plastic and it's the dry-erase part that is magnetic. I don't have tons of space and I'm not giving my toddler dry-erase markers to play with so I was hoping to keep it in a corner with the chalkboard-side out so he could do chalk and magnets. Now I have to pull it out and set it in the middle of the room so he can do both sides. Also the chalk that comes with it is cheap and falls apart and not really worth having, but I can live with that. I recommend ordering a couple of boxes of Prang crayons to go with it.

Fantastic easel! We just put it together with our daughter and she is loving it. She's 4 years old and it's the perfect height for her. It came with a roll of paper, chalk, chalk board eraser, a white board marker and 3 no-drip paint containers. I didn't realize it came with accessories. The other easels I was looking to buy don't, they charge extra for accessories.It's great quality, sturdy and versatile. Good for painting, drawing, chalk and white board. Another selling point I was attracted to, there are numbers and letters lining the chalk board side and magnet numbers for the white board side.This is a really great easel. So happy I chose this one.
