I specifically wanted a replacement for an existing fan that had failed. The claim was that this fan would work. Well, it does, but only after I did far more than I ever expected to do for a simple replacement. They include a brace that you attach to a joist, then slide the fan onto the brace. How do you manage that in the confined space of existing work??? Once I managed to develop and install my own method of securing the fan, I have been pleased with the quiet operation and bright lighting provided. If you have a wide-open ceiling with no drywall in place, this is a great option. If you are replacing an old fan, good luck.

I just installed this and learn from my mistakes.1) Cut the hole about 10.25x9 length wise. 1.25in longer than square2) unscrew the two machine screws that are holding the elec box and vent. remove this from the fan, disconnect the two wires3) put the removed piece up in the attic4) Install the bracket 1st and then mount fan in the hole. Leaving the 1-2in gap on the exhaust side of the fan.5) head up into the attic, connect the electrical to the small box. Then slide this piece back into the fan and have a helper replug the wires, and rescrew the two machine screws. Fan is back together again.6) Pull out the bracket and secure it to a joist. Hookup the ductwork.7) Come back down and install the light. Turn on power and pray.

This is a solid exhaust fan. Well built. Quiet. Moves the air.. Installation typical for a seasoned professional. Led light is great. Bright enough and diffused nicely. Only thing I wasn't crazy about was how much the cover sticks down off of the ceiling. Would prefer it to be a little more flush with the ceiling. Other than that I like it and have already purchased 2 more for customers.

I like this light/ fan , but when my contractor installed it the bracket that holds it firmly to the ceiling broke so it does not fit snugly. I can’t get any one to help me to replace the part. I called the # given but they did not help.

For what ever reason the light doesn't work. The fan works ok.

This is a great shower vent. It is quiet as it does its job of getting the moisture out of the shower. The only thing that I would recommend is a timer for shut-off.I highly recommend this product.

Gave it 5 stars because I had to return due to a mix up and it all went smooth.

Need more instructions but worked great after I figured how to install
