This board is very sturdy and wide. We've had it now for about 4-5 months and beyond dings it's still completely solid. The only con I would say is it needs a better finish on it. We bought it for transferring my mom from the bed to the wheelchair. She doesn't like it because it makes her work harder but in my opinion it's helped her progress more because it makes her work harder. She doesn't slide as easy so I would think I would help with falls more. The Physical therapist was loving it and asked where we got it because she doesn't see them that wide. Highly recommend it.

I use this almost every day. It is great to transfer from the bed to the wheelchair, and even into the car. I actually need a longer one to get into my wife's Chevy Equinox as it sits a good bit higher than my wheel chair. But it works great for my dayds hundia and my scion. It is sturdy and you don't feel like you are going to fall.

It is excellent at getting an invalid from a bed to a wheelchair. Also, from a chair to a wheelchair. Can be used as a temporary seat when placed between two chairs for more complicated transfers to a device not level with each other. Very well finished(smooth) for ease of sliding. The side cutouts are great when pulling the board from underneath the patients rear end. It could be 6 inches longer, however.

Transfer into bed. Easy to use. Very sturdy.

The board is great thickness wise however has no finish on it! The board has not been sanded so it is not smooth. A slide board needs tobe dlippery to aid in movement on ghe board.

This sliding board makes getting in and out of my wheelchair a million times easier. The extra depth makes transferring a lot more stable. I like how the corners of it are rounded out so that clothing doesn't snag. Even though this board is big it isn't heavy! I can easily move it in position. I am so happy with this sliding board!
