PILOT"Elite 95s / Black [nib : Fine]

Q: I bough the pilot e95s with a medium nib. this nib is too bold. can i change the nib for a fine or extra fine nib? if so, where can i purchase one?

The nib on this pen is an inlay nib so not an easy swap and I doubt Pilot sells the nibs for this pen. You could find someone to do custom work on the nib to make it finer...but it might cost more than buying a new pen with a FINE nib.

Q: Will a con-20 fit the E95?

Yes, the Con-20 should fit. One came with the pilot metropolitan I bought a couple years ago and it fit right into the Elite.

Q: What’s the difference between elite and e95s?

A Pilot pen identical to the E95s is available from Japan which has the name "Elite" on it. The only difference is that it is a Japanese model and the North American (E95s) model just has the "E", probably for copyright reasons. Other than that, there are a number of older short-long Pilot pen models made over the years which were also sold under the name "Elite," which mostly had gold nibs and were generally somewhat smaller than the E95s. There is also a Korean version which is currently available which you might see on ebay. That one has a steel nib and is much thinner than the E95s, as well as less expensive. It's not as high quality a pen, but it's not terrible. Hope that answers your question.

Q: Will this pen accept International Standard cartridges?

Not familiar with that type of cartridge. I do know it takes the standard 'Pilot' fountain pen cartridge. (I just sue a small syringe to refill cartridges from an ink well.) ** This is a beautiful pen...Doesn't skip..feels good in the hand and a smooth drag on paper.
