Kids loved their Christmas treat

This was something new this past Christmas. I'm sure we will continue next year.

The candies were all at the bottom of the package, as I could clearly hear when I picked up the box. The plastic packaging was so loose, it didn’t keep the chocolates in their molds which ruined the “open one a day” concept for my kids. The chocolate itself was as expected but not worth what I paid for an advent. Serves me right- I should have bought them earlier in the month from my local Aldi.

I love being able to do an advent calendar - but this year I had to have 5! And so I wanted something that was reasonably affordable. These were great! The kids were able to get a small chocolate every day after dinner and they loved it!

I remember getting one of these as a child many years ago. When I saw it on Amazon I just knew I had to buy it because I wanted to relive that nostalgic memory. In case you don't know what an advent calendar is, it's a calendar you open once a day for 24 days until Christmas. You read a portion of Twas the Night Before Christmas, and there is a small piece of chocolate you get to eat. This is exactly what I got. This is a great gift for young children and it encourages them to read which is always a positive. The chocolate is exactly what you would expect, a piece of chocolate. But for me the power of this product was it taking me back to my childhood. The price is very reasonable and overall it is a great thing to get.

This was perfect exactly what I wanted.

None of the chocolates were in place with this calendar, they all fell to the bottom of the box. My daughter kept opening empty doors which was disappointing for both of us.
