I have a pepper grinder but this pepper is all I'll ever use from now on. The added plus of this is that the grains are large enough to see and the aroma and taste are so good you only need to use a little at a time. This container will last a long time. What you buy in the grocery store is dust in size, has very little aroma, and bland taste. Buy this product and you won't be disappointed. The price is very good too when you consider what is available elsewhere.

This is my favorite black pepper grind for everyday cooking/purposes.It has been for decades. :) It is now quite difficult to find McCormick's table grind inthe store. Thus, I'm quite happy to find it here. It IS the same grind as the red top, 16 oztable grind pepper.Warning <g>This container borders on impossible to unscrew lid to open. I used a box cutter to cutoff the top. Then, store in larger glass jars I have saved from other products: Clausenpickles/sauerkraut for example. <g>

This is really well ground. Not too fine. It's got great spice to it as well. I prefer table grind pepper as it tends to be a little easier to measure while adding seasoning to a meal (as opposed to preparing the dish, where fine ground is better for distributing the seasoning most of the time). We use pepper pretty regularly, but not a ton. Family of 4, with 2 elementary aged kids, and the last 18 oz container of pepper we bought lasted us a couple years. We expect this to last about that long as well.

McCormick Black Pepper Table Ground is once more the finish for all my dishes that I prepare.. I trust McCormick to bring out the flavors in everything I cook. Flavor tested by my family and highly approved.

Average table grind, and VERY mild in flavor. I'd hoped for a coarser grind, but will use it . Will go back to the coarse grind after I use this up.... It may go out to the garden for cat repellent ...

Love this pepper. It is just the right size for seasoning your food.
