I've used similar, more expensive products before. This one works as good as any of them. 10/10 would recommend using if you have time to plan ahead to allow delivery. This flooring underlayment is such good quality. Not only is it easy to use and install but it has so many additional great features. With the vapor barrier it is great for sound suppression making it very quiet which I like. I also love the moisture protection since I am using it on a cement floor. I always worry about moisture when put flooring down. The best feature though is the compression resistance, so amazing. This underlayment helps if your floor has dips or impressions. All in all this is a very good quality product that I would highly recommend.

I used this for a hybrid resilient floor with built-in padding. The product was cost effective and better than thin foam installed by builder. Overall great for adding 3 mm thickness. It is also insulation from crawlspace and a vapor barrier.I initially wanted to DIY install but later used a pro. The shining layer is the vapor barrier and foam holds back g heat and dampens noise. I would have done the opposite without thinking.

I've used a number of types of underlayment, this one falls in the mid range. It has the nicer reflective barrier and good self stick adhesive tape, but paired with a thicker version of the lower density white foam usually found in lower end underlayment. The roll width is much wider making it faster to install, it does tend to pucker on the ends due to the way its rolled. I would choose this over the lower end underlayment in stores, its similarly priced but has more features and durability. Calling it premium is a stretch, while its much nicer than the low end, its not as nice as some of the higher density more rigid foam types, or have some of their features such as grids or ability to lay flat quickly.

You can not go wrong with this, very good and inexpensive. Rolls out flat and the tape line on both rolls is straight and has great adhesive( unfortunately not true with many). I will add to this review after a couple of months under the laminate flooring.

Easy to use. Could use couple more strips of tape. You will need to purchase underlayment tape to finish off the surface.

Great product!

We bought this product to use under our above ground pool. We were putting our pool on a concrete slab and we needed something thick enough to go under the pool liner and concrete. I bought double of this product 800sqft. And it was plenty for under our 20ft round pool. Two layers was the perfect amount. I loved how it has the sticky part on one side. Made it alot easier to stick down to the other pieces. It rolled out and layed down so easily. It's very thick and at my suprize didnt tear easily. We did have to use a razor blade to cut it. I highly recommend this product for whatever you may need it for. The quality is above what I expected.

Putting vinyl click/lock floating floor down that had a hard attached underlayment/backing. It was going over a floor that previously had glued down hard wood flooring. The glue remains caused a clicking noise caused by the hard backing of the new flooring. (I tried sanding the left over glue off the subfloor, but that was going to be a long hard process).So i bought this product, put it over the glue/subfloor. Then i put the flooring back down. Worked GREAT!

Installed it under laminated floor and so far so good. The comfort is better than on other rooms without it.

Was so hard to keep in place and was too bulky for the floor, I ended up not using it, waste of $$$
