Dritz 9522W Non-Roll Knit Elastic, 3/4-Inch x 3-Yard, White

I have a few boxes of N95 masks that work great but the elastic cords on some have broken easily. I've used these to replace the broken straps. They work good for that purpose but aren't as stretchy and can be a bit scratchy on the neck. Product is as desribed.

I use this elastic mainly for skirts and pants for my grandkids. The best part is I really don't have to worry about having to run to the store for more elastic...especially in these times of masks and social distancing. I also don't end up with short pieces left over from packages that are only 3 yards. Great help.

I think it might take me a decade to get through this much elastic. I am an amateur home sewist so I am working through it pretty slowly, but it was just so much cheaper by the yard than buying a couple yards at a time at a craft store. It has a good amount of stretch and I have not had issues with folding or rolling.

I desperately needed tan colored elastic to hold my daughter's hat on for an upcoming dance performance. Sadly there was none to be found...anywhere. Apparently elastic comes in black or white and if you want anything resembling tan you need to head to the nearest fabric store for bra straps.I decided to take my chances with the Dritz in white and soak it in tea until it became the color I needed. In a matter of minutes, the elastic picked up the color of the tea and turned a lovely tan color.It held the color well and with just a few stitches I had the elastic strap sewn to the hat and there were no wardrobe issues at the performance. This is the perfect width for a hat strap.

I wanted to use this for earloops for face masks, but it is stiff and uncomfortable for that use. I thought "knit" elastic would be softer than braided, but that's my misunderstanding, I guess. There isn't really anything wrong with the elastic, but the description could be improved.

Arrived fast and in great condition. It has a piece of plastic inside the box around the elastic to keep it clean I assume, which I can appreciate. The elastic is thick and I saw some reviews saying it wasn't 3/4" but it looks accurate to me. I added pictures for reference. I will update on the rolling since I see some reviewers say it rolls up or looses its shape once stretched out but so far I am happy with my purchase.

I use this elastic in the waistband of shirts I make and it's very nice. I love the no-roll feature. Substantial enough for varied fabrics, even heavier ones. I have used both the Dritz 1" and this 3/4" and like them both.

Exactly as described. Have used in 2 skirts waistbands now without issue.

Not very sturdy and it did roll…however I suppose it depends what you are making with it.

Handy bulk box of elastic. Perfect for waistbands of tutus.
