4 Pack Wasp Nest Decoy Hanging Wasp Nest Stay Away from Wasps Hornets Yellow Jackets

These worked well to keep the wasp away from my deck. Unfortunately, they don’t last a long time and have to be replaced.

Who knew it would be so east to discourage carpenter bees and wasps. These have worked great everywhere we put them. We did loose one in a storm - it got shredded - because they are made of paper. They are a great buy though!

I don’t see any nests nearby the ones I put up, so maybe it works. A little flimsy and can rip during high winds.

I have had these wasp nest decoys hung up around outside, on my house(under roof ledges, right outside my door etc) for a little over a month now. They are holding up so far and seem to be deterring the bees away from building nests in the area the decoy was placed. I still have nests being built on the sides of my house but not right outside my doors anymore where I placed the decoys. The decoys don’t seem to bother the bee nests that are already established. I can honestly say I have seen a significant decrease in the amount of bees lingering around outside since putting these decoys up.Edit: They have severely faded from the sun. Almost white in color compared to the brown color they came as.

We've always had tons of wasps around our back deck in the summer and I have tried traps and other things to get rid of them with no luck. I was skeptical when I bought these but pleasantly surprised that we did not have a problem this year. I will be purchasing again next spring!

Last year the wasps were so intense we could barely use the patio all summer. I knew it was likely due to the hummingbird feeder I have out there, but I enjoy watching the hummingbirds so much I was loathe to move it.This year, I wanted to do some container gardening and knew I couldn't/shouldn't use the wasp spray, and thought I'd give this a try. I like the concept, and it looks pretty cool when it's set up. I didn't immediately set up the hummingbird feeder because I wanted to see how this thing worked with and without it.Without the hummingbird feeder and with the decoy nest, I saw some wasps fly around the patio, but they didn't stick around long and/or ended up in the trap I had also set up nearby.I decided to put the hummingbird feeder back out with the decoy nest up and within one week we had ~3-4 nests immediately built in the vicinity. They were building nests within 5 feet of the decoy. The wasps completely ignored the trap too.I'd say this thing MIGHT work as long as the wasps don't have a nearby food source. However, it was not nearly as effective as I hoped and it's not going to work for what I needed it for.I have moved the hummingbird feeder to the other side of the house and I haven't seen a wasp on the patio since.

This product comes flat and is so easy to put it looking like a massive Hornets nest. It took about half a day for the wasps to clear out. We had been harassed by wasps all summer. A lady in our subdivision had one hanging on her back porch saying how fast the wasps disappeared. She commented she had gotten it on Amazon and I ordered one that day. Very happy with the results.

I am not sure if this has helped with the quantity of wasp because we have still have seen some but I would recommend because of the durability of this product. The nest decoy in this photo has been hanging outside the entire summer and still looks as it did the day we put it outside.

I have had these deterrents hanging off the deck's awning every spring/summer the last 15 years.. I also hang one inside the garden shed. These deterrents are not at all durable (they're paper) and depending on where they are located may require replacing before the season ends. I found this 4 pack pricey, but it's impossible to find this product at the Dollarama any more and I won't do a summer without them.

Just hung them outside my patio door. Seems to be working with fewer wasps flying around.

We've been having problems with both yellowjacket wasps and paper wasps building nests on our rooftop patio. While these nests definitely deterred the yellowjackets, they do NOT work for paper wasps. The paper wasps took the fake nest as an invitation to build their actual nest inside the fake one. They seemed to prefer the fake nest to building their own under the edge of the roof. Make sure you know what type of wasps frequent your yard before you purchase!
