Comprehensive book
I bought this as I needed to brush up after many years out of the saddle. It is useful at many levels, easy and interesting to read, and incredibly helpful. It draws on many years of experience, but is not overly complicated. Common sense applications, excellent photographs, explanations and drawings helps it all make sense again. Every subject I required was covered, and each chapter I got to i found myself saying "This is just what I need to know"!Bonus wipeable cover for the tackroom or yard!

Great easy read
Pros: Great easy read. Good for beginners.Cons: This book can be read cover to cover in 1-2hrs. Its not detailed enough. Whilst I enjoyed reading it, I didn't learn anything from it. It seems to be written for american beginners??? If you are half way experienced with horses don't buy it.

Anyone that wants to improve correctly needs this book
I now train with Ernest as a result if his book. This man is a world class trainer and this book is fantastic. For the novice or the pro, there is a solid philosophy and system which works and makes sense. Could not recommend this enough.
