Works great
I used this to seal my river rock pool deck and it looks even better than the sealer I bought at the local paint store which I used a few years ago. The prices were about the same but this product is easier to apply as I used a sprayer instead of a long handled roller and did the entire deck in about half the time. The pool deck came out great and this sealant shines in the sunlight and is water resistant while not being slippery. I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it. I would use this product again without any hesitation.

Hmmm
I live in Florida. We need to use water based paver sealers down here and this seemed the most suitable. I spent quite a bit of time preparing my pavers for sealing… making sure the sand was just right. Spraying it was easy enough. The first coat I could barely tell it was there so I gave it a second coat which gave it a very slight sheen. I would have preferred a little more but it was OK. It’s been about 9 months since I applied it - I wanted to see how it endured the weather before reviewing. The sheen is still there so that’s good. But it has a slight tackiness to it - even on a cool day. Like if I get mulch on the pavers some of the mulch will stick to it even when using my blower (a stream of water from a hose gets it right off). It’s not much of a problem but I wish it didn’t do that. The pavers are definitely staying much cleaner which is ultimately what I wanted. I haven’t pressure washed them yet - I hope this product endures a pressure washing. And even though I’m giving it 4 stars, I would buy the product again. It protects - just wish the tackiness would go away. And it does a good job of keeping the sand locked in place.

Clogging
This product looks good after applying. The major problem is with the clogging. I purchased a new sprayer to apply this and I spent more time uncloging it and it left puddles everywhere. I finally just used a roller on the whole deck. If your using this product prepare to just use a roller instead of a sprayer.

One Coat Was All We Wanted/Needed
Decided to purchase the gloss version of this sealer as I thought it might work best to enhance the paver colors. Was aware that the manufacturer's recommendation (as well as what most reviews of the product have stated) is to apply two coats. Not sure if there was something unique about our Fendt Ironwood pavers (installed 11 months ago) that made them less absorbent than average but there was plenty of sheen on the pavers after the first coat. As such, we figured another coat would just take the pavers from having a borderline semi-gloss/glossy sheen to a very high glossy sheen ..which we didn't want. We live in the woods and our home, inside and out, has a country decor. Didn't want a look of high-gloss pavers for the two entrances to our house and to our back patio. That would be a contemporary look rather than a country look. So, stopped at one coat and was very pleased with the result. Now, to nit-pick a bit, there were three surprises with the product (none were big issues, just lessons learned).1st- even though the weather for the week was near perfect (upper 80s, 50% humidity), it took 48 hours for the coating to stop being sticky. Didn't expect it to take that long. More surprising, this wasn't just in the heavily shaded areas our property but it was most sticky in the areas that get a lot of sun.2nd- glad that I decided to wear old work boots when spraying on the solution, as the toes of those boots are now very visibly coated in a glossy covering. Would have been upset if it happened to new boots/sneakers.3rd- had to rinse out the sprayer after every 1.5 gallons of use with hot water & soap- as it started to clog up. The solution will definitely coat the inside of your sprayer with a glossy film that you'll never get off. Not a big deal as long as you are prompt with the cleaning to keep the sprayer usable for the future ...but be aware that you'll always have that residue.

Garbage!
This stuff is the worst sealer I have ever used. I couldn't believe it when I tried it. It isn't really that bad I said to myself... but it really is. I suppose in the long run it actually does seal well but the effects on equipment and other things is terrible. I use sealer for cement pots. That's what I do for work. I make them and I have to seal them after they are dry. And I've used a LOT of different sealers but this stuff... well it is as if they took Elmer's Glue and thinned it out and used that. Really! It is that sticky. Whatever you put it on will stick to whatever it touches so with my pots for instance, it won't work for me because they have to rest on something until they are dry. And then when I PRY them off, it leaves marks. Not a desirable effect on the beautiful pots I worked on all day making. If you're using it on horizontal concrete and don't care if that sticks to something else... go for it. It's your concrete.
