Does it work. Yes. The size of the heating coil element is only 16mm (internal), which limits the accessories that I can use with it (i would rather have 20mm or 25mm coil). The nail has 10mm, 14mm, 18mm male end. The real issue is that coil sticks up above the nail bowl by a couple of millimeters. I wanted to use a crystal gourd carb cap but can't make a seal on the bowl. The manufacture compensated for this issue by making the bowl on the carver cap fits over both the nail bowl and heating element. This means that 1.) you are not getting a perfect flat seal on the bowl, therefore you are drawing air through the coil. 2.) you can't use a separate carb cap and 3.) The carver will get really hot because the carver bowl is sitting on the coil.

Product works perfectly but it makes a cricket noise. Before my roommate knew what it was he asked if i had a cricket in my room. Pay more if you don't wanna dab with a cricket.

Was fine for a couple months and then burnt out, now it doesn’t hold its temp and fluctuates up and down. It’s definitely not accurate either bc 500 degrees shouldn’t crack the glass joint on my bong.
