Paint on stand was chiped off near the swivel point, but otherwise a nice addition to an office desk.

This sand art piece arrived packed well in it's product box. I opened the box, was able to easily assemble the framed piece to the base. It all looks really nice but I am not so pleased with the product as is. There isn't a needle provided to add/remove air or water and the inner area where the water, air, and sand are has some flaws in the glass causing areas of "floating" sand that can't be removed. I am sure that most of these have had no issues but there are always a few that end up with issues no matter what the product may be. I have made a point to flip the art and let it settle to see if the very few air bubbles in this piece can release these flaws, or see if there are more bubbles that might be trapped, which none are. I am waiting on an order I had to make for a needle so I can hopefully salvage this item. I encourage the seller to please include a blunt end needle, like other similar product manufacturers do for other brands, so that the integrity of the product can be maintained.

spent more, wanted one of these that turns on a stand. The parts of sand/water/air= how it falls is off somewhere. I've done the hard shaking to try to get rid of the Large bubble, to break it up, but it just turns into a foam. half of the sand never falls .It just gets stuck no matter what. Tiny bits just stay in spots. never makes and formations (like my other good sand art does) The sand just looks cheap!

I have this identical item so knew what product was. This was a gift.

It is smaller and cheaper looking than I had expected. It is nice for a kid or maybe to set on your desk at work if it is not a fancy office. It IS made well.The thing is needs, in my opinion is a picture or scenery in the background. I ended up finding a suitable scenery picture and pasted it to the back which limits how it can face but at least when the sand falls, it is much prettier falling in a picture. All the sand does not fall from the top and that may be normal but with gentle tapping and turning the bubbles will eventually let the sand fall.But I guess for the price it is OK.

This is a little smaller than I anticipated, and I've definitely seen higher quality sand art pieces. They also had much higher price tags. So for the money; not a bad spend. But if you want a truly mesmerizing experience, buck up for the more expensive and enjoy it more. My 2 cents.

I love it but the listing is for the purple one and I got the teal one so I’m not too happy about that. Might try one more time for a purple one but if I don’t get it this time I’m returning it.

This is a great decoration for the office/desk. Very useful for relaxation or general amusement. This was purchased as a gift for my kids, and they really like spending the 3 to 5 minutes it takes for the sand to settle. I've seen some very high quality versions of these sand art frames and this one is obviously a bit cheaper. You will likely have some clumping of the sand in certain spots, but that is not a deal-breaker for me and my family.

This is a beautiful sand picture, more like watching snow falling than anything else.There were no air bubbles in mine so it all just moves around, and bits seem a bit stuck in there, but that gives it a kind of beauty in itself. It's also fairly solidly built and feels sturdier than some others I've owned.

Pretty much what I expected...it's nice. Great for emergency gift-giving.

It's just like in the ad. I've looked at the reviews and a lot of people complain about too much air, well the one i got is the opposite. No air bubbles at all and there are spots where the sand doesn't flow. I'm guessing some of the glue got on the glass face during assembly. it's a bit bigger than my cell phone. perfect for my office desk. but if you are expecting the big ones they used to sell at the mall during the 80's you will be disapointed. For something that will sit mostely neglected on your desk I guess i would recomend.

This was a gift so I checked it was not broken but sadly it doesn't work there is a large bubble in it so the sand won't drop. There are instructions in the box on how to remove air if needed but you need a small gage syringe!!! Not sure about anyone else but this is not something I have in my house! So little disappointed as my sister had one just like this when she was younger and was hoping to give it to her as she loved it.

There is little to no motion with the sand in the corners. It appears to be stuck. Also, multiple air pockets/bubbles stuck or no movement of the air. I thought that the third time would be a charm. The first one purchased was great but over time it started having these issues. Second larger one purchased had trouble right from the unpacking, and now this third as well. Disappointed with purchase.
