I love candy apples and this kit did not disappoint. It was easy to use. You do need a candy thermometer so you can heat it to the correct temperature . I add a bit of cinnamon candy oil to it and they taste better than any I have ever bought at fairs, etc. The apples look delicious and taste delicious.. If I don’t use all the candy on apples, I swirl it on a cookie sheet and when it cools, I break it up into pieces. It makes the most delicious candy, in fact, it’s my favourite candy! Try it, you will be happy you did.

It worked well for me… kids loved it… it just needs patience so wait until the right consistency comes… My first round the apples ended full of air bubbles because I just used right away while the syrup was still bubbling and super hot. I had a bunch of screaming kids waiting to eat it so I didn’t wait the bubbles to go away. Second round everything went well. No bubbles. Tasty and original flavor.

I have been making these candy apples from this candy apple kit for about 10 years. It couldn't be easier. You have to be careful because this is extremely hot candy. Like I said it's very easy. You just put it in a medium sauce pan. add water, bring it to a boil and you're ready. Make sure you clean your apples get all the wax off and dry them off. The provided sticks are great. Some will say that you need a candy thermometer and that will be good to know when it gets to the temperature. But I use a glass of ice water and just drop the liquid in and when it gets to the crack stage, I'm ready.. It does make about 10 candy apples. But if you are using smaller apples, you could possibly get 11 or 12.

We had this same candy apple kit as a kid, it is exactly the same taste and flavor. So happy to find it here on Amazon.

Great combo package. Couldn't find in any of my local stores. Great price for the combo-package. My grands had a blast making these. The only drawback is, the syrup takes a while to heat up to where they actually adhere to the apples and you'll be lucky to get 7 good apples from a single pack because the syrup will burn, turn a dark red color and taste burnt.

This made the process so much easier, I did add drops of cinnamon oil for a kick up!!! These kits are great.

Made some last night for other family members not far away. Made another batch today but we put a couple table spoonfuls of grape jelly in the mix. Came out fine!

This product was horrible! Only bought it because I couldn’t find it anywhere in the supermarkets. I received it and it was very gritty and crystallized, but I decided to try it anyway—ugh! NO FLAVOR at all. The seller blamed it on Amazon. I asked for my money back because there was no way I was paying $14.00 for mixes that weren’t good(ALL FOUR BOXES WERE GRITTY AND CRYSTALLIZED)DO NOT BUY!!!! You will regret it and be disappointed because they DO NOT taste like the candied apples you are used to. They are flavorless😡🤮
