The Carousel of Animals

I like the art of this book, it's quite stylised. I collect pop-up books and this is by two of my favorite French authors (the English language edition). It is quite small and the text is uninteresting (really not the focus of the book), but the illustrations are good. It does say it is a "carousel" book, which means you can tie the cover pages together to make a 3D carousel shape, but I do find this kind of book way less interesting than pop-up books. On the plus side, my four-year-old son was deeply amused and the construction is fairly robust.
