Great product
Very easy to set up and install. I'm using it for my modeling spray booth and because I'm using acrylic paints mostly I love the fact that it is easily disassembled by two clamps exposing the fan for easy cleaning and servicing.

Almost silent
This is a VAST improvement over a ceiling or wall-mounted fan.It is a 6" fan with a reducer down to 5" so it shifts a LOT of air, very quietly. There is obviously some air movement noise at the exhaust end of the duct but there is virtually no noise at the inlet end of the duct. The fan blade and motor noise all gets blown away 'downstream'. I had a dinner party with some people sitting less that 1.5 metres from the vent grille and they didn't even notice.Installation is easy. The mounting system seems odd at first but it works well. Before installation I experimented with a cheap plug-in dimmer unit (£7.99 from Amazon) in case I needed to slow down the air-flow. It worked perfectly. After test-running the fan for 12 hours at half speed, which was absolutely silent in the room, the fan and the dimmer unit were still cool to the touch. I would not hesitate to use a dimmer unit if I needed to - such as in a bedroom perhaps. Just make sure that the dimer unit you buy has a capacity well above the maximum current that the fan can draw.

Does the job!
It's an extraction fan.I noticed a crazy draft coming through our shower extraction vent so thought the one way valve was stuck. Turns out there isn't one fitted so whilst browsing for a new valve, I spotted this and thought "poke it".The fan that was installed was rated at 27m³/HR so I thought the upgrade might make a difference. So far, all I know is that it's working, the newly fitted one way valve is working and that both together are very quiet. Next shower or bath will let me know if it does the job well or not.I contemplated getting the timed one and linking it to the lights for those moments when you're in the bathroom and really thinking about stuff but not using the shower if you get my drift but really couldn't be bothered running a constant live feed. We'll make do letting it run on and switching itself off.

Not bad
Bought to replace a small (and inadequate) fan the builders fitted in a en-suite. Build quality and casing feels solid. Main reservation is noise level is fairly high. Also make sure you know which model you are buying. I bought a basic one - I assumed it would have a timer but it didn’t - it just had two levels of fan speed (presumably if you want it to function continuously and then speed up when you switch light on). Thankfully I was replacing a smaller fan which did have a timer so I managed to salvage the timer circuit board from that one. Works well. Cheaper than the more recognized brands - time will tell if it’s better value !

Good bathroom fan
Mounted in the loft to replace another 4” fan. Inlet and outlet of the fan is 4” but the fan body itself is much bigger allowing for better air flow. Just requires a live and neutral connection, I used the existing wiring, I have a switch for my light and a separate switch for the fan. Don’t be put off by reviews saying how difficult it is to wire up it couldn’t be simpler. It is a 2 speed fan but the slower speed is blanked off (L1). So the live wire (red) goes to L2 and the neutral wire (black) goes to N.

Decent fan with two speed inputs...but only 1 speed
It is a very reasonably priced plastic construction roof space mount 125mm fan with wiring for two speed operation..... but only runs at 1 speed so far as I can tell Only time will tell how reliable it is. Quality seems OK for the price, however I have knocked a star off the rating because a screw on the wiring block access panel had caught and damaged the neutral wire insulation during factory assembly. (Not worth the faff of returning the unit - as easily remedied - but may indicate poor quality) Only time will tell whether the fan is reliable. Just in case I am mounting it in a relatively east to access location in the loft space.

Not bad
Nice unit. You might need someone from your local gym to help unscrew the cover screws however, they are tiny Philips head, but with a small screwdriver like that you need to really squeeze to get them in and out. Instructions bit rubbish: appears to be L1 for slow and L2 for fast speed for your live if you are left wondering !

Great extractor but air arrow backwards!!!
This was easy to install and moves alpt of air. Very happy with the item EXCEPT they have fitted the stickers on the wrong sides. The air goes the other way. They got it wrong. Note the amazon photo shows the arrow sticker on same side as the power cord enters. Mines on the other side . Reasonably loud but it will be as its powerful. Performance is more important to me than noise.
