Very short story, but the moral impact is quite evident. I've read this little story several times, and it always makes me chuckle! Could have been an expanded story, but it's still a very nice short read.

The Helpful Robots by Robert Shea. A short story. I believe it was more like an excerpt that could be fleshed out into a novel. The "golden rule" That the robots in this story must follow is very much like one of Isaac Asimov`s "robot rules". If the reader is familiar with his writings,they will understand what I am saying. I could not help but laugh at the end of the story, at the irony presented. It was simplistic, But, I liked it. A human has a group of robots working for them. Everything is good till he asks them to break the "golden rule".

If you like robots and you like your stories short with an expected yet still surprise ending, read this book. Enough said.
